When my friend from New York City, Linda Meris Skwer and I took in the sites at ZooMiami, one of the regular attractions was a live wild animal show at an outdoor arena. Several zoo associates would bring out individual animals and give interesting facts about each one...
One particular associate specialized in bringing various birds. One of the first avian characters she'd brought out was a trained hawk, who was able to fly around the perimeter of the arena (flying through three hoops at the very rear area, above the highest seats).
