General | Posted 16 years agoI'm a bad girl. Instead of drawing porn I'm playing Torchlight (in my defense, my arm and hand are pretty sore from bowling <.<).
It's like an improved Diablo/II, with better graphics and much more fun to play. It's on sale on Steam for €4, and I think it's roughly that price in dollars too. The only downside is that it only supports single player, but fuck, there are much less fun and more expensive single player games out there.
GO GET IT! IT'S ONLY ON SALE THIS WEEKEND!

renamon19 and my sister and myself went bowling, and then went to a bar to play pool.
It was a lot of fun, and although I'm tired I'm eagerly awaiting my greek food now. Rena was tired and he went home a bit early though.

Long story short, before we even started Rena bought a medal and told me "Because it's your birthday today, you're the winner", then put the medal around my neck. Corny as all hell but very very fun!
P.S. I got a new haircut but when it's dark outside the light in my room makes my cam go funny. This is my actual haircolor.

I know I haven't been active for some time - working a lot and being tired a lot - but I miss drawing so much and I need to get rid of this creative energy.

A former friend also stole $600 from him, leaving him... well, working 40 hours a week, buying nothing but the cheapest loaves of bread and worrying endlessly about being able to afford the very basic living conditions still.
While we all bitch and moan about life, he's having a seriously tough time and is now also opening commissions in the hopes of getting some extra cash. He is a very good artist, he works fast and dedicated and his number one priority is always to please his customers to the best of his artistic abilities.
If you're looking to commission someone, PLEASE keep him in mind? He does good work and deserves a break!

I was taking a walk with my 9 year old dog just now, in the farming fields near our house. In the 9 years we've had our dog, he's never been mean, or attacked another dog, or did anything bad. He's a child loving dog who rather runs than attacks.
So, I let him off the leash. TECHNICALLY you're not supposed to. But my dog listens, is friendly etc. Never had a single problem in these 9 years. So today I let him off the leash again.
We're walking through the fields, and as usual the dog's running up ahead of me. Some guy and his woman are walking their leashed dog, so Binky approaches all happy to meet the new dog.
I hear the other dog squeal and struggle with my dog, and the next thing I know this fucking bastard is kicking my dog in the side three times, over and over again to get him away.
Now mind you, IF my dog had seriously injured the other dog then I would be "fuck, rescue your dog if you must". But Binky isn't that kind of dog. You can't even provoke him into hurting you, even by accident. If you play and say OW his ears go flat, he looks sad and keeps licking your hand to say sorry. He's way too sweet to attack anyone on purpose.
But to kick my dog THREE times when my dog's already trying to get AWAY is beyond me. I started to run up to them, screaming and yelling at him to stop. When he got closer he started to threaten me too, calling me names and that I should leash my dog.
We got into an argument where he was calling me a retarded cunt, threatened to beat me up too and that my dog was biting his dog - who, by the way, was TOTALLY fine and unharmed and probably squealed because he was scared of a bigger dog. I told him that there was absolutely no need for him to fucking KICK the dog. I never had a single problem with him in 9 years, so what the fuck does that say?
And coming from a man who is so aggressive as to kick someone else's dog, I wouldn't be surprised if HIS dog was the one that started to bite.
Eventually I told him to go fuck himself and to piss the fuck off, and he and his woman continued their walk. If I wasn't in such utter shock and worried about my dog, I would have beaten that guy in the face with the leash holder. (We have this plastic roll-up leash thingy) But checking on my dog was my first worry.
I ran after him and called him back to me, and he seemed fine, thank god. I felt his ribcage and his belly and he doesn't seem to be in any pain. He was still happy and sniffing around, sitting down and looking around alert and bright, so he's thankfully not injured. How the fuck anyone can kick such a sweet dog....
I kind of broke down crying there, and these three elderly people stopped by and talked to me for a minute or two. They too thought it was horrible what he'd done and it was completely uncalled for.
Then I started walking back home and met another older pair who shared my sentiments on it, and told me to report it to the police. When I got home and shared the story with my Dad, he and my sister immediately went out to look for this guy. But he was probably already home by then.
I'm still a bit shocked, upset and on the verge of tears. Abusing my dog and threatening me with physical violence is not my idea of a nice walk on a sunny autumn afternoon.

Basically I can make 6 hour calls every single day for as long as my subscription lasts, without additional costs). I can't even make such cheap calls to my next door neighbor.
My current plan is like this:
1 month of unlimited calls to USA/Canada: $2.95
1 month of a unique landline phonenumber in the US: $4.62
(This price is after the discount and how much 1 month would be for the number, you pay for 3 months at once technically)
Both cost LESS than a one-time credit charge of $11.50, which is what I normally pay to have $10 of credits (and I run out of that quickly).
So fuck me sideways, this is one of the best deals so far in my life. :D

On day 5. I actually didn't sketch on day 4 because I was so damn exhausted I was almost asleep by 7pm. So I drew two pages today instead and posted them as yesterday and today.
I'm liking the progress I'm making. It feels good to discipline yourself to do a minor task every day.

A CopyRIGHT in the word itself tells you that you retain all rights to copy a work, and are preventing others from gaining this right. A copyright protects you by not allowing others to copy your work, i.e. they don't have the right to.
How the FUCK can anyone confuse this with copywrite? Copy writing? The rights to write copies of something? It's a copyright.

I WANT TO TRY AND DO THIS DAILY. It's less than 10 minutes a day if you pick 45 seconds and under, and easily done as it's not a difficult exercise.
You draw what you see as quickly as possible and move on. No time to detail, no time to get it right. You just shut down your brain and... do it.
I'd like a buddy or two to do this along with me. I'll probably scrap each drawing in my gallery or use an LJ account to post the sketches. If you're not going to participate in NaNoWriMo this year, at LEAST try to join this?
