Copywrite is not the proper term nor an existing word. It also doesn't make any fucking sense.
A CopyRIGHT in the word itself tells you that you retain all rights to copy a work, and are preventing others from gaining this right. A copyright protects you by not allowing others to copy your work, i.e. they don't have the right to.
How the FUCK can anyone confuse this with copywrite? Copy writing? The rights to write copies of something? It's a copyright.
