Some folks like to see the process/stages/etc....

So here was the first rough idea (orig pencil is a bit lighter)...

The angle on her face didn't show peircing, eyes, and smile as well - changed that.
Hair became more elaborate....
The frame thingummy....i had no idea what it was at first....just one of those intuitive things - sketch it out - see what happens....first rationalization was that it was some sort of abstract gold or stone arch/throne/alcove...then it slowly became obvious they were feather shaped (duh)...Bit of a groan later when i realized they were rather like the cartoon character "She-ra"'s tiara...i should have seen that right away as i did layouts (scene break-downs, key poses, bgs, etc) on She-ra way back then...

But this isn't She-ra's thingy any more than it's Marvel's Thor winged helmet....colour version brings it more back into some sort of peacock related idea...
