Nightrunners are inexperienced apprentices who are given only simple group tasks, after which their teachers decide whether they are ready to become a gutter runners. They are poor at working in a team, so in battle they rely only on their numbers and run away at the first opportunity. That is why the clan mainly keeps them as hunters, gatherers, and other types of workers.
