One of my favorite things in Animorphs is the oft-maligned Taxxons. Elfangor said they were evil, and for most of the series the Animorphs agreed, but in a few key books we learned the truth - They are just desperate people who made an alliance with the Yeerks for food, and that alliance backfired when the Yeerks betrayed them. There's something compelling in that to me.

This is another attempt at designing a Taxxon. As I mentioned in a previous post, the canon design doesn't seem right to me, so I set about trying to come up with a design that I'd like to draw. This one did not last very long, but it helped me explore a few key ideas that I may later revisit for other things.
