Thought I might attempt to continue and go through with my goal of getting all of my Christmas commissions reuploaded to my account before the end of winter (although at least for today, it feels like it's already ended, considering I've been told by people that have actually gone outside that it's 15° Celsius right now in the middle of Canada, yikes. Isn't February supposed to be one of the coldest winter months?)! Once I've successfully posted this one, that makes it two down, one to go! Overall, I've been experimenting with my routine lately and trying to commit towards submitting at least one of my commissions per week (or rather, artwork featuring my characters, as they're not exclusively my comms), which is still pretty slow but obviously much more productive than the once per month it usually takes me.
This was another joint commission with
RodonEndwell, and this time it was illustrated by the fabulous artistic siblings, 
Furiarossa (don't forget Mimma!)! Featuring August and Rodon's Torracat, Kiva. Unlike the last Christmas submission that I reuploaded to my account about a week ago, this one is actually partially my commission and we agreed to split the cost on it, so I paid for precisely half if the price. I'm very satisfied with how it came out; the siblings were offering commissions in an artistic style that they've titled as "mixed and complex", and after seeing how spectacular this one looked (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54908249/), I happily agreed to purchase something like it for myself! I seem to remember that it was my idea to have August flying in front of the full moon — I thought it might look really atmospheric and mystical, sort of as an inverse of the one previously linked with the sun/sunset.
Did you know that Santa in the Pokemon world is actually a Torracat? It's true! You may think that it would be a Delibird or something (or just a lame human), but it is, in fact, a fire cat. Every year, Kiva dresses in her signature Christmas garb that consists of an iconic Santa hat and hops onto her magical Sawsbuck mount to fly across the horizon and deliver gifts to all of the well behaved Pokemon at midnight. Here's a rare photo of her waving to the camera after dropping off tons of delightful presents to everyone! And believe it or not, all Sawsbuck are provided with the supernatural power of flight during Christmas Eve! So of course August is happy to assist her.
... Or they're just dressed up for the occasion and are posing in front of a green screen. Which one seems more likely?
