Just awkwardly standing around somewhere within visual range, head tilted slightly away so it doesn't look like he's watching her work. It was the foolproofest plan.

Hello OOPs gang! I'm here to remind you once again that there's a place called "Top Web Comics" https://www.topwebcomics.com/?home=3 that compiles comics from various places. There's a bunch of cool stuff there. They have monthly votes, so you can support OOPs there. You can vote once a day per device, so your PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.
OOPs closed out last month at 66th place and about 780 votes. It's currently at 639 votes and 78th place. The highest it's reached is 36th place, and the top vote getters seem to end up with something close to 20,000 votes.
Vote early, vote often! Help OOPs get noticed!

From a psychological standpoint, I can see why this has him panicked. Baxxid are ambush predators. Granted, civilized Baxxid don't hunt for food anymore, but the underlying mentality of laying low and observing would still be a major part of their psychology. For poor Kalgur, the embarrassing thing is realizing he was being observed ALL ALONG, and his "ambush" technique is pretty bad.
Aside of the fact that it is lovely to have a friendly chat and break the monotony of a rather monotonous boring & dull duty... She's distracting him from performing his duties, so unless that's her intention(which it might be, who knows), she should let him work. I don't know how high the crime rate is there in Valsalia, but I'm going to assume the fellow guard gave him those instructions for a reason.
I'm not sure what I want more, for her to be all "I admit I didn't know that you folks could get crushes on us softskins, but maybe I want to know what you'd even do with a crush if you could... because I know you're a cutie-squirmy-man in my eyes. I think I'm curious~"
Or if she's gonna be a shrewd businesswoman and slyly flex her hands at him and hypnotise him into buying half her stock XD

Something I truly love about this series is how you can manage to take what should be a scary creature and make them such lovable dorks, while at the same time never ignoring the fact that they could be significant threats if they wanted to be, its just they are mostly pacifists who prefer using their brains.
🎶The jig is up, the news is out, they finally found me 🎶
In all honesty, if you noticed someone standing still, staring at you from across a crowded area with no one else acknowledging them, then thats kind of creepy. Although, how creepy can largely depend on their appearance. Regardless, people do have a weird six sense telling them if they’re being watched.
