Makes sence that extremely delicate craftsmanship would be fascinating to a very intelligent yet not very dexterous creature.
Also it makes me wonder how one of them would react to a really impressive example of dexterity like a person scrambling and unscrambling a rubix cube, cats cradle with some string or that speedy cup stacking game.

I get the idea this guy deals with baxxids enough to read them just as well as people. He might not be able to see where Kalgkur is looking, but he can probably intuit that his partner's distraction has something to do with the pretty lady doing very precise craftsmanship. And that's assuming he hasn't just heard about Kalgkur's crush ahead of time, baxxids love to gossip
I'm not sure why it wouldn't! No reason why two individuals of different species can't fall in love. Sure, there are differences between the two, but why shouldn't those differences be part of the love they have for each other?
Though if you meant physical compatibility... Well, that we don't know enough of to know for sure, but even assuming sizes don't work out for certain activities, intimacy is more broad than that, and I'm sure they could find things they both enjoy.

Very impressed with your depiction of the smith. You can see she is actually doing something and not just random unconnected moments of crafting. My guess would be ornaments made from wire, possibly intended to be near a light for big shiny effects. I have done some wire bending myself, but not in gold ^^

Heya, OOPs folk! I'm here to remind you once again that there's a place called "Top Web Comics" https://www.topwebcomics.com/?home=3 that compiles comics from various places. There's a bunch of cool stuff there. They have monthly votes, so you can support OOPs there. You can vote once a day per device, so your PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.
OOPs closed out last month at 66th place and about 780 votes. It's currently at 218 votes and 90th place. The highest it's reached is 36th place, and the top vote getters seem to end up with something close to 20,000 votes.

Judging from the fellow guard being fairly unphased by Kalgkur's crush, would this mean that human/baxid romantic relationships are a thing that have happened enough in this universe that they are well-known and accepted by at least some of the population? I wonder if there's any lore on prior notable relationships.

As others have brought up, I am now curious if Braxxid x human couples are in the city. Also, we really haven't gotten any info on Braxxid mating or reproduction that I am aware of. What sort of courtship rituals do these unique individuals possess? As we've seen with Yinglets - the randy little buggers they can be. Would a Braxxid who seeks out human companionship also be seen as a bit of weirdo amongst their kind? And how common would such an occurrence be? Would a human and Braxxid be compatiable in such intimate ways?

I know this is a Kalgkur page but I can't wait any longer. I've noticed that yinglets have an extra leg bone between the calf and the ankle. Would there perchance be a name for the extra length of leg and the connecting joint between it and leg length? To not go insane I've settled for calling them the Spindle and Springy respectively
That’s just the thing though! Joint wise, both Plantigrade and digitigrade legs have four unique joints. Hip to thigh, thigh to calf, calf to ankle, and ankle to toes. Yinglets would have FIVE and that results from an extra leggy bone between the ankle and calf joint. It’s almost like digitigrade and plantigrade mixed together with digitigrade’s weird bendiness and plantigrade’s flat foot.
I have a feeling our good ol' baxxid boy has already been compromised.
