Here we have a Red Kite at Gigrin Farm near Rhayader in mid-Wales, where meat is put out for them each afternoon. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area; on a good day you can sit in the hides and see more than 200 kites come down to feed, plus buzzards and ravens. It's the kites that are the real draw, though, and they're absolutely beautiful birds to watch. It really is a fantastic sight -- and at a fantastic site, too!
