Orok Mountaincrack (and Trenni), Great Warchief (and Assisting Expert)"He had the ambition of Odo Curia, a mind for tactics as Peter Black, and the political expertise of Pompus. Had he been slightly more dubious and pragmatic, and aware of his strengths, we'd be seen an orcish empire covering a good portion of Kevica." -Rosarug Emperor on Orok Mountaincrack"I am starting to think we may be in trouble." -Veg-Dernard's King upon seeing Orok and Trenni decimate an entire dwarven divisionWhen the orcs had moved into Middle Kevica, fleeing the Ratik's Great Horde, they had made many enemies along the way. They broke down dwarven cities they knew they could not survive in, and did not make a good impression with the goblins whom shooed them out. Yet, as the tribes settled, they had long been in danger of being consumed by their surrounding neighbors, and would have been colonized and enslaved like the kobolds had it not been for a strange orc and his companion coming from western Kevica. Orok Mountaincrack was a warrior from Ulgada before it was a Rosarug ally. Yet, he wore a cloak of red and carried with him a stone mallet. In his travels, he came across the goblin Trenni, she being named after a training dummy whom Orok would rescue from being turned into mortar practice. Orok and Trenni fought together through the dwarven tunnels until reaching Middle Kevica, where their adventure truly began.
Orok was known for being a silent and cold creature, compared to Trenni whom was outgoing and dramatic. The two seemingly on the outside did not get along, but in reality were often considered quite close. Orok and his companion became warriors for the Hurndakar Confederation, fighting in small and petty dispute before miraculously saving a tribe from total destruction from a dwarven incursion. What began as one petty war soon turned into hundreds, as dwarven warriors began to stream out of their holds for various reasons, primarily to war with the orcs to keep them from causing further trouble in Middle Kevica. Orok joined in these disputes, and led countless victories against the dwarves who tried to destroy or enslave his people. His effectiveness as a warrior became unrivaled, aided by Trenni whose innovativeness and explosive expertise allowed the two to breach dwarven strongholds and drive on an offensive against their bearded foe.
Orok's skill on the battlefield was only matched by his unintentional diplomacy. Orok and Trenni were said to have a 'clear mind' for orcish politics and customs, and they were able to convince chiefs and war bands to put aside their differences to help them in driving back the dwarves. This diplomacy proved useful when Hurndakar, Pargolkar, and the Grudakar were at their wits end with one another all the while a new foe began to stream out of the mountains. Goblins from the warrior empire of Huesforga sought to colonize and conquer Middle Kevica, and their attacks grew increasingly larger. Orok united the three confederation temporarily to defeat this foe, leading the force himself as he and Trenni were said to lead a special team behind enemy lines to blow up caverns and cause a general uproar. Orok and Trenni at first did not make it out of Huesforga as the war turned for the orcs, and were trapped and imprisoned in the goblin kingdom.
Rumor and legends surrounds their time in Huesforga, but what is known is that Trenni was able to 'fake it and make it' to becoming a boss through absurd deciet while Orok languished in slave mines surrounded by enslaved dwarves and kobolds. It was there Orok allied and befriended both races, settling their disputes before leading a slave revolt which caused all manner of chaos in Huesforga. Despite the goblins thinking them cornered, Orok would again force his way out of the mountain with his new found allies. Orok and Trenni returned as heroes to the orcs despite the confederations returning to raiding and killing one another. For many years after, Orok and Trenni continued to pull off impressive feats by defeating dwarven incursions and goblin raids, and even broke into several dwarven cities and stole an astronomical amount of wealth. By the time of their next great venture, the two had become the richest orc and goblin duel in the whole of Kevica.
Orok's greatest achievement was uniting the orcish confederations again against a combined effort by the UDH (United Dwarven Holds) from marching into and conquering the Pargolkar with the aid of powerful dwarven nations such as Vag-Dernard. Orok and Trenni devised a plan to lead a major offensive against Veg-Dernard and use their mountain home as a base of operations to launch counter-raids into occupied Pargolkar territory. Orok conquered many holds, using alliances he had made and an absurd number of bribes to eventually convince Vag-Dernard to surrender and even join him, and eventually defeating the UDH. However, in the last days of the campaign, both Orok and Trenni would rather suddenly disappear. Some say they were captured by UDH agents who had them executed in secret, others say orcs from Pargolkar tried to assassinate them and the disillusioned two left Middle Kevica for parts unknown. No one has seen the two since, even as the UDH retreated, some claim the dwarves had sent small armies seeking answers as to where the troublesome two had gotten to.
Orok and Trenni were odd by both goblin and orc standards. Orok was cold and a true warrior, being often said of slow wit, but he also had an eye for crossbows and archery which was unusual for orcs who saw crossbows especially as 'inferior weapons'. Orok and Trenni also had a very strict code of honor, one which often jaded the orcs whom they were loved by. Orok especially, for reasons unknown, has an extreme distaste for slavery and cruelty. He was especially quick to humiliate those who harmed laborers of the places he visited, and would brawl with arrogant orcs. Trenni was much the same way, although her main issue was with the treatment of her own sex. Trenni (with Orok's help) would often accost those who mistreated their wives and harmed youngsters, and again for reasons still not known as the two were often private in their history, Trenni would go to great and absurd lengths to put a sudden and brutal end to corruption wherever the two tread.
