(My early depiction was incorrect because I mistakeningly thought he was the prince of Sloth, I have thus corrected the error)"
Leviathan, is a creature featured heavily in Jewish mythology. Referenced in several books of the Hebrew Bible, including Psalms, the Book of Job, the Book of Isaiah, and the Book of Amos; it is also mentioned in the apocryphal Book of Enoch. Typically depicted as a large monstrous sea serpent. There are even paralles to the Norse Jörmungandr or World Serpent. Some 19th-century scholars have pragmatically interpreted it as referring to large aquatic creatures, such as the crocodile. St. Thomas Aquinas described Leviathan as the demon of envy. Peter Binsfeld likewise classified Leviathan as the demon of envy, as one of the seven Princes of Hell corresponding to the seven deadly sins. Mostly nowadays the term is often to describe something of a large scale.
