Cryptozoology, literally means the study of hidden animals. Those creatures unknown to science, or surviving pre-historic relics.
But what of those animals so pointless, so worthless, so......CRAP that science just doesn't want to know, and remain hidden more from a sense of acute embarrasment than anything else?
Welcome to the shadowy world of Craptozoology.
It is said , that in the dense swampy jungles of the Congo lives a relic of Earth's pre-historic past. A living dinosaur that the local peoples call the Mokele Mbembe which translates as ' One who stops the flow of rivers '.
It has a little known cousin, the Mokele Mmmm, maybe?, a dinosaur so pathetic it actually isn't sure if it exists or not.
Reports tell of how the creature wallows around swamps, reading texts on existentialism and stopping passers by to ask if they can see it or not. One terrified cameraman, shooting footage for a television documentary recorded in his blog that the Mokele Mmmm, maybe? tracked him for days, waking him up in the early hours of the morning asking "But how can you be sure?" and demanding to see video footage of itself, only to lumber back into the sweltering jungle, shaking it's head and muttering, "But look at what they can do with computer graphics and digital effects these days!"
