It's hard to believe it has been twenty years since I'd attended my very first official 'furry convention'. In this case, it was in October, 1995, when I'd traveled up to Elizabeth, New Jersey to attend "ConFurence East" (an East Coast version of the original "ConFurence"). It was there where I got to meet a number of talented anthroartists (e.g. 
MelWhite, 
TerrieSmith,, 
SAGallacci, and many others. And I also got to see a variety of incredible 'fursuits' of various anthropomorphic characters...
The best 'fursuit', in my humblest opinion, was the 'Jack Salem' costume - based on the ".357" character, created and drawn by
RGibson. I was able to take several pix of 'Jack Salem' at "CFE". This particular 'photo-op' was taken at a post-convention party , held in one of the suites on an upper floor of the hotel where said con took place...
From right to left (counter-clockwise), we have the 'fursuiter' in the 'Jack Salem' costume, followed by "Rowrbrazzle" member
JoeStrike and Ray Rooney (who I used to see on a monthly basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania [back in 1993] at meetings of the PAS [Philadelphia Animation Society]).
