Poor Mr. Foxy. He met a nice, friendly, female canimorph just about his age on an online chat spot, and decided to meet her and take her out for dinner and a movie. The rendezvous turned out to be a wonderful one and the Vulpimorph started wondering if his days of being a "Terminal Bachelor" would soon be over. Upon the young lady's request the couple drove up to the point overlooking Mill's Harbor, and enjoyed the view. Soon, a breeze brewed up and scattered the cloud cover hiding the beautiful, full moon, and a rapid change started to take place on the lovely lady, where she barely had time to slip out the half opened car window, shedding her clothing in the process. This sure put Foxy in a spot, because he promised his date he have her home by Midnight. Instead, He might have to wait until Dawn.
This is the second of my attempts using Photoshop to color my images. It took me three days, working off and on, to color the sky and background alone. I'm having a dithers of a time as I tend to get carried away with the detailing and the shading. I figure I'll never have the time to develop the skills of my admired artists like "Silverone" or "Silverfox5213" but I could develop a style similar to that of "Wom-Bat" who relies more on composition and dynamic poses for his flat color characters he draws.
Help?

Yeah... I hadn't thought of that. Still I like to believe most of the transforming Lycanthropes in the "Artist and Muse" world may have their bodies change, but their minds and spirits change very little. I was trying to convey the young Lady was more upset about morphing on Foxy before she could inform him about her "Condition' and was frustrated that while in her full Lupine form she couldn't tell him of the fact. If she felt the little Vulpimorph would have made a small, furry snack for her, it's obvious she could tear that "Toy-Otter" apart like a bag of potato crisps.
Okay you need to run with this if you feel up to it. I could see Mr. Foxy at least letting her explain what happened even if their first outing didn't go well.
To be honest I kinda know who she would feel, I lost count of the times a woman dumped me when she found out I was trans way back when.

Maybe I should attempt to write up a comic that explains the situation in more detail? I was considering that Foxy met the Lady, (who I have yet to give a proper name,) they hit it right off. She seemed to have many interests in common with the little Vulpimorph, and so they met for a short while a couple times before the date of the "Incident." She might have relied on the weather report stating the Cloud Cover would stay, well into the night, and since Mills Harbor is close to the Oregon, Washington border, it's like cloudy all the time.
I think it would be a good story arc, there is much back story missing and story to carry forward with here. It's something you could have fun with... Like the challenges of dating a werewolf hehe Around full moon you carry a collar and leash and gym bag just in case someone shifts in a place where pets must be on leash...
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaybe... It's the least she could do for not telling Foxy her secret in time.
Perhaps I need to add another helpful hint to "The Modern Shape Changer's Guide to Survival?" Number 16, "Be sure to have enough insurance or extra funds to repair damages and replace broken goods. Wrecking the items of the non involved can sometimes bring undue attention and shame to the Order."
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah... Too heavy.

. . . Or, perhaps a new business? Shapeshifter Insurance? Helps to cover scratches on (other peoples) hardwood floors, gouges in couches, busted glass . . .
Here at Full Moon Liability, we know how hard it can be to explain just how certain items that may or may not be under warranty were damaged or destroyed completely under a variety of odd circumstances . . .

Right. I like to believe the werewolves in my "Artist and Muse" stories still retain their intelligence and the ability to discern right from wrong, or vice versa even while in their animal form. I just get so weary of the Psychotic Lupes gettin' all the press and being perpetually cast as the bad guys, which makes it difficult for the good ones.
well if she is the type to still be completely inteligent without being reduced to a ferals mindset, she should still be able to give him a few gestures and such, like poi t to him then herself then pat the grass and point to the sky.or doodle in dust crudely with a paw to communicate.
now lets see how another date goes for them

I like that idea. I was considering using a similar idea for my character "Furball" who is a non metamorphical lupimorph. Once he turned from human to wolf, he couldn't change back, He finally persuaded his handler at the Institute studying him he was intelligent by making three corner bank shots off the walls of his cage with a rubber toy ball.
Yes Photoshop coloring can be real pain in the neck to deal with. I do recalling trying to painstaking color my own ink drawings for the first time in photoshop when I was in college year 2011. Because I do draw very detailed ink work.
I'm sure there are tricks you could use in photoshop coloring. You can try to use magic wand to select some areas to color from the ink drawing layer. than create new layer to color on while keeping the selected area stay selected, but only using selected areas from ink drawing layer to color in on different non-inked layer. That way you can make color changes easier. You should also look up on "create clipping mask", that tool keeps all shading or any marks stay inside colored shapes that is painted on one layer. Hope this helps.
Very interesting comic here.

Every image I color in Photoshop thus far has been a "Learning Experience." I look at this image and realize I could have used a few "Short Cuts" in order to render it better, and faster. One lesson this immage taught me was not to go in for the close details. seeing how it's going to appear on FA at only 1,000 X ??? Pixels. So I figured it might be best to step back a bit and see the whole picture , and try not to work so hard like a "Wall Lizard."
