With this page, I decided to finally take the plunge and switch to dip pens, and I'm really loving them! I've been using this comic as an excuse to get out of some old comfort zones, and I was never completely satisfied with the old way. So I know it looks a little different. I need a lot of practice with them. <:)
Anyhow, I can't tell you how much fun I had with this page, between all the kooky expressions and getting to draw Cody being, well.. Cody. Like I said, he's the Ballpointe equivalent of Pinkie Pie, only he doesn't scream everything he says at the top of his lungs and he's got access to a bunch of servers. But he does have a habit of breaking the 4th wall, or at least twanging the comic borders inbetween his tusks. :)

I just dump the script into rot13.com. That lets me get the formatting set properly for him, for when I have to split across word bubbles.

The thing about his speech as she says, is that it is /related/ to the conversation going on, but is not /VITAL/ to know. There is nothing in his words that you will be lost for not knowing.
And as per what we said, in the strip, his words will be translatable by hand without any in depth work other than a simple substitution cypher
