Back in the bunk room, the squad settles down for the night and speculates on what might lie in store for them. Rojas has a baaad feeling about all this. What a sour-grape, eh? Anyway, just wanted to throw in some foreshadowing and character development for the rest of the Tunnel Rats other than Brock and Az, cause hey, they're ALL important, right?
You may be wondering... why pinochle? I say why not pinocle. Do I know how to play the game? No. Does anybody in the WORLD know how to play the game? Again, no. So why? Because it's fun to say! Pinochle pinochle pinochle... Yeah, that's enough of that.
***WARNING 1*** this story WILL contain baby-furs and age regression, but it will be very tastefully done. Diapers will be involved later, but will not be dwelt upon, as they are ultimately incidental to the story as a whole.
***WARNING 2*** this story is not a particularly happy one, and will be taking Brock to some very dark places. It will deal with issues of specism (i.e. racism), depression, suicide, and violence. Little Furs will find themselves in hazardous situations, and some of the events which take place may be shocking to some readers.

Gotta love foreshadowing! I also appreciate that the hare, being "all ears" and such, is the one that can sense the coming storm. It seems an appropriate role for him. I think Rojas is my favorite secondary character so far.

I like the bit about Az not wanting to be called a bunny because he was teased in school being called "bunny rabbit".

Stole that idea from Redwall. The hares in that world generally HATE being called "bunny" XD
