Here we get our first glimpse of Brock O'Meles' time in the Army and meet his squad and family, the Tunnel Rats. There are things that take place in Brock's life before this point (he's 22 at the beginning of this tale), but they are generally un-neccesary for this particular story, and thus are only alluded to briefly as necessary for flavor.

The story is written as if present Brock, at the age of 32, is telling the story of his past self to the reader directly.

***WARNING*** this story WILL contain baby-furs and age regression, but it will be very tastefully done. Diapers will be involved later, but will not be dwelt upon, as they are ultimately incidental to the story as a whole.

***WARNING 2*** this story is ultimately not particularly a happy one, and will be taking Brock to some very dark places. It will deal with issues of specism (i.e. racism), depression, suicide, and violence. Little Furs will find themselves in hazardous situations, and some of the events which take place may be shocking to some readers.

I will strive to keep the story at a PG-13 rating, but that does mean there is mild language, some sexual (but not explicit) situations, and as I mentioned before violence.
