When we last left the Tunnel Rats, they were just leaving their home base for their new assignment. We pick up the story as they arrive at their new home and meet the Head of Research at Camp Everglades, a young calico cat named Emelia Sorenson.
***WARNING 1*** this story WILL contain baby-furs and age regression, but it will be very tastefully done. Diapers will be involved later, but will not be dwelt upon, as they are ultimately incidental to the story as a whole.
***WARNING 2*** this story is not a particularly happy one, and will be taking Brock to some very dark places. It will deal with issues of specism (i.e. racism), depression, suicide, and violence. Little Furs will find themselves in hazardous situations, and some of the events which take place may be shocking to some readers.
Enjoy the journey! Brock

This is actually an interesting chapter on a few levels. It reinforces that our hero is dependent on the institution, the appreciation for a higher command structure and organization, but he also appreciates the nice look of the facilities, even seems to take comfort in the civilian-esque sight in front of him and the fact that they're "family friendly". That seems a stark contrast from the harsh soldier facade. There may be a softy in that gruff badger yet.

I don't know how to comment on this without spoiling future revelations... But I'll just say that you've got a very good bead on his character, and that this is the very core of Brock's future trials

I love how you portray your anthro animals!! they all still have there natural size and body types in place if that makes sense!! Loved this chapter!

Yeah. I wanted my anthros to still exhibit many of their feral qualities and nature while still being human-like in their actions. As far as I'm concerned the species of an anthro dictates a LOT of their personality and how they view and react with the world. When I create a character, this is all taken into account and heavily weighed.
