JTA 2021 - Break Time and the future of JTA

Good Evening folks.
I just wanted to create this to explain a few things.
Anyone that has been following JTA will not have been caught off guard, but I wanted to put it out in the clear.
As of today, there will be no more updates regarding JTA.
The reason is because I chose to take this start of the year as a personal vacation from the series, I will use this time to evaluate JTA as a whole where it is at now and where it is going,
First in a matter of plot. As I need to make sure I did not make any glaring mistakes in the story so far, I will be reading anew all the chapters up to the end of episode 8, fixing spelling errors as well as any mistakes or misrepresentations... I do not expect this part to make any significant change to the plot at all, it’s just me making sure everything is as I remember as some of the stuff in the story is now over a year old to me and I need the refresh.
As such this break will serve as my relaxing time so I can enjoy the characters I love one last time before I move on to grander and more exciting plotlines.
Secondly, and on a much more complicated note. I will reevaluate JTA as not just a story, but a product.
I have always been open about this aspect of the trade so I’m not ashamed to share that as much as I love this story, one day I hope to live off it and for that I need to get myself out of the comfort zone of the shy country kid who can't talk to people, and into the head of a professional writer with contacts and colleagues... Which I hope I was able to prove that I can become for this past year.
First, I want to say I have always been this story first and biggest fan, and I love every part of it, I do not and will not make changes to the plot based on 'what sells'. But it has come the time where I also need to get this story out there, I need people to see it otherwise writing it is pointless... And I don't want to be one of those writers that goes 30 years undiscovered, heck I’ll be 60 by then.
I need to look at JTA from a business perspective, either advocating harder and more professionally for my patreon in order to make it into a sustainable alternative to my current job or trying to secure a deal with a publisher who might be able to get me in contact with people who can get me where I need to be in order to grow. All that is so the future of JTA is looking UP as opposed to looking FOWARD... There is a big difference between those.
These next few weeks will be... Tumultuous... For me in a personal and spiritual level, even as I write this, I have already begun to feel anxious... And truth be told I am not looking forward to putting myself and the story I love under the microscope. As well as interacting with people I know nothing about.
But it is a must if I want this to be my future and this is the only future I can see right now that I feel like I want to achieve... More so than anything else in my life so far.
JTA will resume... When it resumes.
Don't worry, it will probably be some time in February or March that I get back into the game, I just decided against putting a deadline on it due to the sheer amount of stuff I will have to deal with until then.
And of course, I will probably resume posting on patreon before I come back to FA.
