Heyo, greetings and salutations.
I want to not make a wall of text like I tend to do every year now, I just want to give a heads-up on a few things JTA related.
One, you may have already noticed, I am changing the upload schedule.
Well, for one as this year passed, I became a bit savvier with writing business strategies, and well... I just realized my current ones don’t do much of anything really.
By definition comics and drawings are much different from writing, and while uploading a chapter a week is feasible, it does pretty poorly for my mental health as I basically have no free time to spend with my loved ones.
The vacation from uploads I took at the start of 2022 has been quite enlightening, no longer am I worrying about a deadline and my production rate hasn’t gone down significantly (in case this is new to ya, I have already uploaded EP 13 to patreon a while back).
So, what is the new upload schedule... There... isn’t any.
The only reason I went for the ‘weekly’ model was to follow trends with fandom, pretty much every comic out there uploads weekly, so I figured that was the best way to do it. But writing wise it’s a bit tricky to follow that, there are few fans of writing who genuinely want to sit back and wait, and given how fast chapters come out it seems easier for people only to come back and read at the end of every episode (which I noticed is what tends to happen).
Writing is an inherently different media from comics, with different quirks and tastes, and consumers have different habits, so I figured I may needed to try something that was more akin to how readers like to experience things.
As of 2022 I am no longer doing weekly chapters, instead, I will start to upload episodes only when the next episode in line is done. For example, I’ll only upload episode 13 when episode 14 is done and already up on patreon.
I figure this was a better and looser upload schedule for me to follow as it makes it less stressful, I’ll be uploading in bulk when the time comes and people can read at their discretion as opposed to waiting weekly.

As a bonus bit of news, I just started working on expanding the JTA universe to other medias, I already have an artist on board and we’re discussing how exactly to do it, but I’ll leave up that we may be close to getting a JTA comic which is a huge step for me and I’m crazy excited about. ^^
