i hope y'all can actually read the text. i realized after i drew the page that most of the speech balloons were mega small.
i had to use smooth bristol for this page (as opposed to watercolour paper for the page prior, and vellum paper for the one before) and i've never been a fan of smooth. it takes ink really well (lineart) and markers okay, but the paint is just a huge uncontrolable multi-layered nightmare. i think i finally got it to look nice, but not without massive shouting at the page and general profanity all around.

Though I guess besides confusing Yoshi's name with Kyotoshi.
I actually like how he has a rather sidekicky name to him.
It makes me wonder how they'll react to many of the different things a different and very economically productive world can bring. I doubt even Kyotoshi planet was this happening before the blockade.
