The fallen giant
Heres a day time shot of the fallen Boxwood that took out our garage last night. This gives you perspective exactly how big this tree is. This is why I have the call out to anybody who wants free firewood. Contact me and help yourself.

That's quite the tree. Our firewood stores here are completely full to capacity right now where I am, and the fireplace is currently off-limits (landlord homeowner guy is on semester abroad, insurance would be displeased if we used the fireplace with him not around), but I'll help cut/split/stack if you need it.
Depends on what kind of "boxwood" it is...... I'm pretty sure it's not "true" boxwood (Buxus sempervirens), which is an evergreen shrub /tree. It might be flowering dogwood, but I'm not sure......... even some species of eucalyptus are called "boxwood", according to the dictionary.....
you might be able to call a tree removal service or a furniture company.
Depending on if boxwood is usable for more than firewood you could make a pretty penny.
If not then its time to call in your friends and rent a chain saw i guess.
Glad it didn't smack you or the house proper!

At least that is not the size of the OAK TREE that took out the entire BARBED WIRE FENCE out at the property and you want to talk about a wake up call at FOUR IN THE MORNING from the neighbor who has a cattle pasture on the other side of the road. Good thing we could use the lumber in not only fire wood but also as posts later that year but doing a quater mile of fence combined from BOTH properties that i was glad to be off for three days in a row. My pour little S10 and our monster Ford F150 Centerion had the piss worked out of them along with our neighbors tractor and the combine they own was even used to pull as well. But the hole that was made took a LOT of rock from the river to fill up. And also i looked at the other photo's and you got lucky right there. Also that is still ONE BIG TREE!
Hope you get things taken care of and also did not want to make you feel alone as well. I would take a house over that fence building any day here in Kansas considering it tore up my old welding gloves.
