Just kidding! great stuff.
tis why you continue to amaze me! :D
I've looked into how one might paint fur textures in photoshop, but the amount of work that would require for just one character has put me off doing it, it takes long enough just to color and shade normally! I can't imagine how you could do it quickly and skillfully enough to pull it off for a picture like this with 30 different characters each with their own unique style.
How do you do it! If I'm not mistaken you use traditional media, so you couldn't even use photoshop tricks like brushes with shading built in that are sensitive to direction and pressure. And if you make a mistake you can't go back! How under those conditions could you do so many different characters and have the colors all look nice and have no apparent mistakes!
It boggles the mind.
You do some of the absolute best yiff paintings I have ever seen, and they are certainly enjoyable. But this...
Damn, Splotch, my man, you have outdone yourself.
Such a wonderful mood is projected by this painting; to look upon it is to smile. It stands for everything -- in my mind -- that places like FurAffinity stand for: community, belonging, and the wonderful happiness that these elements so wonderfully generate.
This is an absolutely wonderful piece, Blotch. I can only look upon it with humility and no small measure of awe. It is... awesome.
Masterfully done. This is inarguably a complete masterpiece.
BFB - BIG FUCKABLE BEAR? O:
like how big is this thing irl?
It's a little over 11x17 in real life (standard size for a wrap around cover.)
like dude respect, you are awesome
Really though, you've out done yourself... I can't even express how impressed I am with this.
i want to go now just so i can nab one of the con books!
Sofu+++++awesome!!!!!!
I cant see any mistakes on it. Not one! Nada! How do you do these things? x.x
And... is that Preyfar on the right?
Well that's one way to get a lot of species you haven't drawn much or at all out of the way, huh?
See you at the con!
i love it!
The critters with con badges are awesome. Hah! Cock lovin' fox!
i love the tigers paws doing the 'rock on' or whatever that means in the background! haha, this is great.
Thumbs In = Metal
Thumbs Out = Love ^.^
He's just sharin' the luv from the back. He just barely made it for the picture, otherwise I'm sure he'd be front and center with the wolf. ;)
I think this needs to be printed as a poster. :D
absolutely EPIC
I seriously wanted to go, but I just went to AC the begining of July, so my funds are bit low right now. Not to mention my parents don't want me taking road trips to cons alone, and my non furry friends are all road tripped out. And I don't know any furs in my area.
Nice job you realyl spent you time on this one!! <3
but can say this... can not wait till next month to see that cover in RL. :D
@o_o@
Is that a fox hugging a chicken? XD
I don't see a tiger anywhere! :(
Nice job, Blotch! (You ARE going to be selling the original at an art show in the future, right?) :)
What does BFB stand for???
"Big Fucking Bear"?
I'm sure that's a rule somewhere. ;)
Very very nicely done. :D
Is that Coors can in the bear's hand? ;) And is anyone supposed to be anyone in particular?
Please can you do GOR for me PWWWWEEEEAAASSSEEE!!!!
;)
I WISH I COULD BE AT LEAST 1/1000th AS GOOD AS YOU!!! T.T
AWSOME WORK!
YOU ARE ONE OF THE FURRY ART GODS!!!! <3
It's gorgeous, as to be expected with you. :)
I'm going next year, dammit!!!
Save me a conbook? :)
Ahh, I kid. Awesome piece, I love all the different species you crammed in here. I like that happy screaming canine in the back, lots. :'D
must of tooken ya awhile
And while 11x17 might be a small space for all that detail (I'm imagining major paw cramps), you must have a ginormous scanner. Awesome work!
Great job on this man, great job.
The colorwork is stunning and I really don't know how you could have had the patience to work on the coloring for this for eight days straight. X_x
I am gonna have to stop talking now and just stare at the artwork!
i guess i recreate better than come up with original content, bravo. but alas i cannot come. unless of course you can get my company the account for security and they could fly me to NY. :)
what's one more wish?
excellent is not enough word for this work, i (amazing as it may seem) cannot derive sufficient words *thunderous applause*
African Wild Dogs = love.
And my animal knowledge isn't as vast as I'd like to think so I gotta ask- what kind of lizard is that next to the bunny and the husky? That thing is SO CUTE.
but one thing...where are the badgers!? ;p
draw more fennecs!!!!11 XD :P
~Kai
Where's th' wimmins at! Don't see a girlfur at all in that menagerie!
Amazing pictures. The sheer enormousness of it boggles the mind <3
...
Oh, wait, on second look there's a spotted arm sticking up from the back. *is pleased*
Amazing work. Lessee... I think that's the Kenket raven on the right, Blotch is just left of the bear, Fender is holding the FA flag... Beyond that I'm lost.
*does a standing ovation*
great work, u have alot of patience... HAHA ^^ amaizing ^^

This is crazy awesome to me though.
I'm sorry if someone's listed all these already, but did everyone else notice that all the main characters from Dog's Days of Summer are in there?
I love a little con badges, especially the tiny one that the dragon is wearing. :D
And of course, Kenket is up there in the corner. :)
Wonderful wonderful picture. No better way to commemorate the event then with Blotch at the forefront. :D
I love it. AND YAY FOR THE GARDEN STATE!
i love it
+FAV+ +FAV+ +FAV+
I love your work so much
It must have taken hours. Great pic!
are u gonna be working on DDoS soon?
This is one amazing peice of art. You've out done yourself dude!
I would go to the con, if i had funds, and a reasonable way to get and stay there (that, and I can't legally purchase tickets, blah blah blah).
But this has got to be one of the greatest montages I have ever seen. >_>
(Theres been alota comments for this!)
The artistic dedication and perseverenc you've shown in completing a piece this ambitious speaks volumes to your love of the arts. I am humbled by the scale of this piece, and you deserve any and all credit and kudos you get for this.
Are they all random characters or do they represent actual ppls o.o
great job budy
Dude, *awesome* pic!
I love how the dragon looks over the whole crowd!
i wish i could draw :(

Also, nice rendering.

I DECLARE IT BE THE THE ULTIMATE OF AWESOME.
Wow. You're amazing, with all your stuff.
Anyway...to the picture...WAY AWESOME o.o
I'm probably just as amazed as everyone seeing it, this is like a compilation of awesome x3
Creat Style You Have And The Colours are Awesome
I love all the different kind of animals in there
I think we have a winner here :)
impressive work... but like always... (well... here you have added the number of furries...)
I DID see the tiger dude in the back waving his paws in the air though. :P
~~~Fusion
And I love how you color fur.. don't think you can color this good digitally.. I have greater respect for traditional artists.
And another thing that really gets to me about this it the expressions.. you even have a great grasp of that!
All the little things makes it feel so alive!
I'm in awe before your skills. I would love to be able to draw/color anything I want to, like you can.
Just love this, it has a soul.
FA FOR THE WIN!!!
I have three favorites out of all of these that I really liked:
- The fox hugging the rooster
- The laughing wolf? (seen between the bear and the rhino)
- Fender. Sitting so proud upon the shoulders of the zebra and the ape.
I'm so suing
Very much awesome and now it's just hit 1000 faves, too!
Well good work ^^
Well anyway, you draw fantastics! I want so badly to draw like you!.. Hmm practice, practice, practice..
going to have to look up the rest of your work :)
POWER TO THE ANIMALS!!!
One those furries that appear in this ilustration is Jack the kangaroo about Dog Days of Summer, right??, and the otter could be Bayshore??
