Emily was always more optimistic than others, coming up with ideas to make life easier. But when she became experiment 35-I and had her hand forcibly replaced with a prosthetic, something inside her switched. She considered it a blessing, a sign that she was destined to be an inventor, and she immediately began studying her new device. Emily was especially surprised by the sharpness of the claws with which she attacked the guard, causing him several deep cuts, just before she was sent to the trash planet. Since then, her relatives have tried to interact with her as little as possible, nicknamed her "The Crazy claw" due to her unpredictable nature. However, this didn't stop Ignatius, when he first met her in the caves, he praised her improvement, which immediately sparked their friendship. Later, the inventive Emily, along with other engineers and former scouts John and Jack, founded a large workshop for repairing and manufacturing all sorts of things, from an ordinary pickaxe to a machine gun that shoots hot rivets. Speaking of the strange machine gun, it's one of the many contributions the out-of-the-box thinker Emily has made to the alliance's armaments, thanks to the vast array of mining tools found in the caves. Now everyone looks at the engineer girl in a completely different way, now she is a respected person without whom the alliance will hardly go anywhere. In turn, Emily began to conduct much more bold experiments, confident that her genius would lead her race to success and long-awaited freedom.
