Basilisks are solid fighters that can protect the weaker members of the army, or charge the enemy. Their petrifying attack is great for taking enemy units out of combat, even if the chance is low.

I spend a lot of time choosing SFM models that are as close as possible to the original creatures. Yes, this picture isn't high quality, and if you don't like it, I'll take that into account. It's just that there are very few suitable dragon and other reptile models in SFM workshops.
