i felt like i was kind of running out of good discord profile pictures that werent seasonal, so i drew this picture up. it originally was pretty bare without any fireflies or trees or worm, but ive been kinda dead on social media lately so i took about an hour to touch it up for here
about the fireflies, ive actually had the idea to make a firefly character since late 2024. i really wish i executed it in someway somewhere. it wouldve felt really poetic because this wouldve been a whole year before my interest in bugs, but nonetheless.. maybe i will make one of these a character? i guess we will see
and as for the worm, i dont really like making solo woolly pictures much to be honest, makes him feel like too much of the 'main character' which isnt really what i try to go for. so yeah, just wanted to add him at the last second
oh yeah, speaking of the worm, i wanna change his name again.. yep. wormy, bogey, mermer, and now digby is what i have in mind. ill talk about it more in a future submission but i think it fits, right?
this will not count as part of my 'exploring the world' series, but i still wanted to credit this field in northern mongolia as a loose reference here, particularly the idea to put some trees in the background since the field felt really bare at first
