this was originally gonna be posted for easter, but i had kinda forgot i had college work due so i couldnt really make it, plus i was kinda slacking on this a bit. this is sorta like last years easter picture anyway where its not even really easter-themed beyond a few small details. im always relieved to finish one of these pictures though regardless. im starting to get used to drawing these again
this picture takes place in alemán humboldt, a german k-12 school in guayaquil, ecuador! thats pretty interesting, isnt it? this is specifically in the bibliothek (library) where there are english, spanish, and german books. the scene felt nostalgic to me because of the little.. reading bleachers? im not sure what you would call that thing in the corner, but i remember my school library having something kind of similar. and of course the computer lab as well, with coolmath-games on in the background
woolly is reading 'the cricket in times square', a book ive been reading lately and its actually one of the first books ive read in a long time since i really struggle with reading. i tried listening to the audiobook of the metamorphosis before this and i got lost every like ten minutes, so a book written for nine-year-olds was really a breath of fresh air for me, as embarrassing as that is to admit
im tagging twiddle, spitz, and novo (and also my new grasshopper sona once he gets a folder) because they are cleverly hidden in some of the posters in the background, even though you kinda have to zoom in to really see them. feels kinda cheap to add them to the character folders, but i mean i hardly draw my furry characters anymore anyway. i should really draw them more than just brief cameos
