Melicia is Rosalia's younger sister, though only by a matter of months to a year, and thus also aunt to the main Madeleine triplets. Nonetheless, left more to her own devices (and the influence of her caffeine-laden french-vanilla espresso flavor), she was a flighty, eager young woman, who quickly gained a fixation for all things locomotive-related.
Naturally, this panned out later in life for her to set about making her own mark upon the world in expensive, adventurous projects to propagate the railroad as far as she can; with the old world already thoroughly laced up with railing, she set off well away from the civilized world to establish such in the new world. Little else is known of her beyond this, as she has been deeply focused upon her own efforts, so news from the new world is limited.

Also as to novels or stories, oh I wish, but I am far more a worldbuilder than a narrativist, so it's ...far easier to just make new characters; at MOST short stories.
