The proud father of the Madeleine triplets, Marlais! A fop of mild origins, Marlais nonetheless is a spirited, vivacious fellow; a socialite who desires to be the life of a party, his penchant for poetry somehow managed to thaw the heart of Rosalia when she was younger, and what started as a tryst grew into a flowery relationship.
Thus Marlais was the lucky son of a gun who managed to woo and marry with Rosalia, and has likely kept things balanced out with her in regards to their children, trying to inspire them with stories of grand adventure, to love life and give it your all!
Though, all the same, this sort of spiritedness has made him woefully vulnerable to being let down or rejected; how could he not be, it--he-...truly, a victim of his own empathy.
