typewritter thoughts

for reasons i still can't articulate, this day I couldn't stop thinking about typewritters
About wanting to try and use one, more specifically, write out things on paper with it
i think it might've come from a wish to have form of analog medium on which i can write out my thoughts without having to use something like a computer or a phone.
Of course i do already write them down with my own written text, but the typewritter feels like a nice inbetween written text and a device like a computer!

and yeah, at least a typewriter won't ask me to pay a subscription to use all of its functionality lol
and yes, i think that is my main driver for this too: given recent revelations about the people running the world, it just feels like mainstream online platforms are completely tainted. The horrid way the internet has bcome is primarily financed and paid for to BE that way.
Something about that just makes me sick
Also one of the reasons why FA is one of the very few websites i still use. the rest of it all has just all gone to the dogs
So far i've felt FA is pretty neutral/ok in terms of what i upload here personally, i know there's controversies with it, but personally since i really only engage with it at the SFW level, it feels pretty stable. Fingers crossed it can stay that way
