I originally called this one Solmere.

• Biography: Lyndis is one of the many ½ Mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born a day after Thessalonike was born, making her part of the 2nd line of ½ Mermaids born to the family and is the twin sister of Artemis. As Lyndis was born a minute before Artemis, she is the older twin. Both Lyn & Arty shared the dream of wanting to be heroes like their father, and one day, the twins came across a book detailing the stories of fighters known as the Solstice Warriors. Intrigued, Lyn & Arty both opted to follow a similar fighting style with Lyndis representing the Summer Solstice & taking up arms as a Solar Paladin. As a result, the first thing Lyn did was develop sun magic until it fully resonated with her being. However, this did not take long for Lyn to accomplish as she also dabbled with fire & light magic as well, adding to her magical arsenal. Once Lyn got her magical prowess going as it should, she moved onward to learning how to fight physically, showing great skill in using a mighty war hammer in addition to fighting with swords; both one-handed & two-handed, spears, and even bows. Her talents made her a good fit for Hyrule and alongside her sister Artemis, she has been helping to defend the peace of Hyrule, and her home world of Olympus ever since. As is to be expected from those in Juni’s family, Lyndis is a very friendly girl, inheriting only the best traits from both parents. Dutiful at heart, Lyn is capable of handling any task given to her without fail but has on occasion proven to be a feisty one at best. Lyn enjoys days when there is not a cloud in the sky and loves to explore wetlands & woodlands, though she seems to prefer swamps & jungles most of all. However, Lyn has no forgiveness towards poachers and is intolerant of invasive plants in areas where they should not exist. In fact, Lyn burns any invasive plants she comes across and takes their roots to their native habitat. Like a handful of her sisters, Lyndis is a proven absolute mudlark, and she will not hesitate to throw herself into a quicksand pit the moment she spots one. She also gets excited when signs of quicksand are discovered in the area she is exploring. Grows the healthiest sunflowers.
• Abilities: Being ½ Mermaid, Lyndis is capable of transforming into her mermaid form the moment she enters the water. As a mermaid, like all her other ½ mermaid siblings, she has excellent swimming speed, can breathe underwater without the need to surface for air; though she & her other sisters form gills to help with this, too, and she can commune with aquatic creatures of any kind. However, she primarily transforms while in either fresh or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Lyndis strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. Lyndis & Artemis make up the Solstice Sisters, meaning they fight akin to the style of the Solstice Warriors. Lyn represents the Summer Solstice and takes up arms as a Solar Paladin. As her profession implies, Lyndis is a holy knight with well balanced attack & defense power, though she proves to be fast on her feet as well. Lyndis primarily fights with swords & spears, but she also uses a war hammer to bash enemies with as well. Lyn also has skills with a bow and is a good shot with bows, too. Her main magic type is solar magic, which uses the power of the sun to burn enemies & even deal heavy damage to the undead. She also uses fire & light magic. Her starting gear & magic are as follows.
o Silversun Armor: Lightweight but immensely durable plate armor that resists many enemy attacks with ease.
o Sun Cape: A cape sewn up by Lyn’s mother Palutena. The cape may appear fashionable only, but it provides Lyn with a significant boost to her magic power when using solar magic and reduces magic consumption by half while worn.
o Solmere: Lyndis’s personal horse. This lovely white & orange horse glistens in the sunlight and is capable of galloping across grass & sand without trouble.
o Sol Katana: A razor-sharp sword with runes that imbue it with sun magic. This wicked blade cuts any enemy slashed by it with ease and can slice through armor as well.
o Sol Sword: A double-edge sword with slightly higher attack power but with slightly shorter range. This too has runes on it that imbue it with sun magic.
o Sun Claymore: A two-handed sword that packs more power than the other swords. This can easily crush enemies the katana & sword can do little against.
o Flamberge: A basic flame-bladed blade that has middling attack power but lacks the sun magic runes. However, it has a gem that can take in sun magic, or fire magic, to give it increased attack power.
o Flammenschwert: A two-handed sword of great attack power. It too has a gem for taking in sun magic, or fire magic for increased attack power.
o Zweihänder: A two-handed sword with no special properties. However, it makes for a good anti-pike weapon.
o Sun Hammer: A strong two-handed blunt weapon that packs the burning power of the sun. This easily breaks wooden shields and dents up metal ones. In addition, it is effective against the undead.
o Holy Swordstaff: A spear imbued with holy magic. This makes for a good thrusting weapon in addition to slashing.
o Apollo Longbow: A longbow with features akin to the sun god Apollo. When firing arrows from this bow, the arrows can ignite enemies and stun redeads & gibdos.
o Master Sword: Like some of her sisters, Lyndis owns her own variation of the legendary Blade of Evil’s Bane. While indeed not the original sword, it is just as strong as the original and works just as well. It is capable of firing sword beams when Lyn is at full health and can attack with Skyward Strikes as well.
o Master Katti: This katana was bathed in sacred flames and finely tuned with the blessing of the goddess to be gifted the power to repel evil. It strikes with a 5-Hit combo instead of a 3-hit combo like the Master Sword.
o Sun Shield: A shield that radiates a warm light in the darkest areas. It makes for a good source of light as a result.
o Mirror Shield: A shield with a polished, gleaming sheen. Its mirrored surface reflects light brilliantly.
o Royal Broadsword: The Hyrulean royal family would award this sword to knights who achieved remarkable feats. A sword that balances strength and beauty as elegantly as this one is a rare find. This one is well cared for. It won’t break.
o Royal Claymore: A two-handed sword issued to the Hyrulean royal family's immediate guard detail. Its powerful strikes are said to crush an opponent's body and resolve alike. This one is well cared for. It won’t break.
o Royal Halberd: This spear was issued to the knights who guarded Hyrule Castle's throne room. Its ornate design was applied by a craftsman in service to the royal family. This one is well cared for. It won’t break.
o Royal Bow: In the past, the king of Hyrule presented this bow to only the most talented archers in the land. Its combat capabilities are as impressive as its extravagant design. This one is well cared for. It won’t break.
o Royal Shield: A shield issued to the Hyrulean royal family's immediate guard detail. It boasts a high defense, but these days it's more a collector's item due to its ornamentation. This one is well cared for. It won’t break.
o Flameblade: This magical sword was forged in the lava of Death Mountain. It leaves white-hot flames in its wake when the blade glows red. This one is well cared for. It won’t break.
o Great Flameblade: This magic-infused greatsword was forged in the fires of Death Mountain by Goron smiths in an ancient age. Attacking with it when the blade glows red lets it expel flames. This one is well cared for. It won’t break.
o Flamespear: A magical spear forged in the magma of Death Mountain. Attacking when the blade glows lets it expel powerful flames. This one is well cared for. It won’t break.
o Fire Rod: This rod spits out a ball of fire that will sear most enemies to a crisp. Some enemies are especially vulnerable to fire. The Fire Rod can also be used like the lantern to light torches, but from a distance. Lyn feeds the rod her own magic power, so it won’t break on her.
o Meteor Rod: A magical rod that can cast three fireballs at once, crafted by an ancient magician. Lyn makes this one last longer by feeding it her own magic power.
o Solar Magic: Lyn’s primary magic. This harnesses the sun’s power to burn foes with fire & light all at once. It can not only stun undead but also light them on fire. Lyn’s spells include Sunball, Solar Rain, Solar Blaze, Solar Beam, and Solar Blade.
o Pyromancy: The power of fire magic. Lyn is able to bend fire to her will & use it in any shape or form that she desires. She is also able to cast strong fire spells on a whim, and she knows plenty such as Fire Sabre, Flame Wall, Flame Stone, Flare, and even Bombos & Din's Fire.
o Light Magic: In true Paladin fashion, Lyn is a powerful user of the golden holy light. With this holy power, Lyn can wipe out undead foes quickly, and heal her allies as needed. Some of her light spells include Healing Light, Holy Shock, Aura, and Lucent Beam.
