Ammon: Curator of All
Name: Ammon
Alias: Curator of All
Gender: Male
Orientation: Bisexual
Species: African Golden Wolf
Height: 6'5"/1.96 meters
Age: 41
Voice: Heavy Egyptian accent, but he can match his voice to whoever he is speaking to.
Abilities: Ammon has access to a variety of magics through his upbringing and latent blood-related potential, with focus on empowering himself and allies or cursing enemies with debilitating effects. He is also experienced in necrotic related spells, weaving a manner of necromancy for the purpose of dealing with undead monsters or seeing the deceased on to their afterlife. His position as Curator of the Archive has also given him two distinct benefits, the first being able to traverse through time and space to wherever he needs to, though this is done by the sentient heart and mind of the Archive for the purpose of collecting and storing important artifacts that may prove to be dangerous anywhere else. And the second benefit is functional immortality so long as he does not pass on the role of Curator to another through the proper ritual.
Weaknesses: Aside from a magical inhibiting field, Ammon possesses no proper weaknesses save for hubris or underestimating any opponents he might come across. Yet as as he cannot die, he does not seem to mind this too much, which may be why his hubris still gets the better of him.
Personality: He is a thrill-seeker in every sense of the word, finding enjoyment in his work like nothing else, save for telling stories to those who are interested. He has kept a journal of his many adventures and uses it toward that goal, but also uses the many tales he has found in the Archive as another source of exciting tales. He is also fiercely protective of the Archive and people in general, knowing that the end of lives means the end of any potential stories, yet he knows that time will eventually bring them to an end. Even so, he does what he can, and usually collects what remains with satisfaction or regret.
Background: Blood of the divine runs thick in the one called Ammon, a factor that has brought the opportunity of a life, perhaps several, to the jackal. To become a scribe, a weaver of stories into legends, has been of interest to him as it has with many, but this chance presents itself for him to become the Curator of an important Archive back home. Yet to prove himself worthy of that role, he has been ordered to travel far and wide, learning of the lands and the people inhabiting them, honing his skills and talents so that he may return and pass the trials that would ordain him the right to mantle the duties and responsibilities of the Curator. And so Ammon set forth, traveling across wilderness and visiting civilization where he could, writing down his experiences as he went. After a time, he would come to see that some matters required intervention, leading him down a line of thought that his talents can be put to use as an adventurer, helping those in need while improving himself in the manners dictated by those who set him on this path. Following many (mis)adventures, he would succeed in his goal and return home a hero and champion, but quite ready to settle down. The mantle was inherited after a ritual of succession, and now he has achieved his life's dream, but little does he know his adventures are not over yet.
