Unlike in the New Adventures, for Petey the Puppy’s second season, slightly retitled The Puppy’s Further Adventures, each episode began with a pre-title scene. That’s what this is. For “Puppy Goes Home”, they used it to recap the previous episode, “Glyder, the Misfit Puppy.” Both episodes are available online if you know where to look, and once again I make no claims to either the series or this episode that I’m about to expand upon. I include this “novelization” purely to establish the proper context of fanfic episodes to follow.
The original episode “Puppy Goes Home” was written by Mark Jones for The Puppy’s Further Adventures. And since Robert and Charlie haven’t appeared yet, I can say that all characters in this scene are © Ruby-Spears, Hanna-Barbera, and Warner Brothers, based on characters created by Jane Thayer. I make no claims to them either.
