There was a conversion/painting speed contest at one of the local hobby shops. Im a sucker for charity so I went for it.
When I saw a few pieces available, one of Leucrotta/Pachycrouta's pictures http://www.furaffinity.net/view/917196/ happened to pop into mind and I ran with it. Somehow, putting Gaspy on a pair of spider legs just struck me as a fun option. For a 2 hour rush job and not having pained a mini since 2007 or 2008, I think I pulled it off very well. And the glow effect is shitty, it was done in the last 15 mins. Managed to pull off a 2nd place win and there is so much superglue holding the legs to the base that it bounded when a judge klutzed it.
Probably will repaint this guy once I finish cobbling together an army from spare parts for this guy to lead. Frankly, I always have loathed the pose and look of Mortenebra and probably will wind up giving this guy an extra pair of arms and use him as my standin.
