Tensett the Dog is a green furred male (born intersex) who has always felt a responsibility to be a protector. He is very strong-willed, though this often leads to overbearing stubbornness. This is sometimes misplaced in something, even if intentions can be good. Currently working as a private agent for the Governance (their only formal world government), Tensett works to uncover nefarious secrets that are determined to undermine the missions and goals of the Brain Trust, the central group of science that leads the direction Governance takes.

Tensett has lived his life covering up the fact that they were born intersex. In the world they live in, intersexuality is seen as just another beautiful side of all of nature's truths.... but it is a personal insecurity to Tensett that they be seen as anything other than male. The irony is that there is, in fact, another secret about their genetics that has been kept from them from birth, which Tensett has purposefully been made unaware of.

Tensett does not have a romantic life, and publicly will say that "the work is the greatest marriage", but in truth, he does desire a partner, but feels they may be too strong willed to appeal to a potential mate. Their relationship with their parents seems good to him; but the parents have at times kept secrets so that they can remain in good rapport with their oldest son. They are very proud of the career Tensett has gone into.

It should be noted that Tensett is the oldest of two children - Nylton being the younger brother. Nylton often looks up to and imitates his brother's interests.

Tensett is 26 years old in human years.
