so, I think the first thing to get out of the way is for me to state that the names of the celestial bodies and features are named after their deities. like, they are one in the same but also 2 separate physical items within the universe??? idk i dont have a good way to describe it atm.
By the end of this I will have a total of 40 deities and demi-gods, but actually 42 because there's 2 more that are connected to the magick system in a weird way and thus aren't part of the standard 40 count. So if you're reading this and keep seeing "God of ___", that's why.

but for now lets just worry about the guys in the picture. or at least their spherical facsimiles. also in the next entries i'll explain why they've got 2 names but just go with it for now tyvm :>

Tsanai'a "the stars" - creator deity, is also one of the 2 that aren't in the 40 count. I will have to make a unique design for them, but most likely I will not give them a physical appearance outside of being the universe itself and the source of everything. parent of Whaidzo, Zhol, Vyqex, and Bvynla.

Whaidzo "Perfection" - eldest of the Stars. Is that backwards based on how stars work with Whaidzo being a blue giant? yes. Do I care? nay. father to Dzevyzh, Xiduqa, and Qishwe'yx. God of Qynts.

Zhol "Broken Cosmos" - twin of Vyqex. father of Qonind. It is strange to look at Zhol and point and go "deity", since prior to this revival/writing of my OCverse I always mentally considered him to just be 'some guy'. like a commoner, and he had no family of any kind and now ive just poofed him into being a father and a twin with a parent of his own. God of Zhyko.

Vyqex "Sun" - twin of Zhol. Vyqex is my OCverse name for Sun the Daycare Attendant. Father to Vorymor and Zormalfym. God of Osta.

Bvynla "Soul Flame" - youngest star. again, being a red dwarf that's backwards but shhh. is the creator of Naukyng. God of Kauzu.

Qonind "Rainbow Death" - son of Zhol, trickster god. same problem as his dad, not used to looking at him and going "you have a family. and a job. And a position of power. Or important in any way shape or form.", ya know? God of Finai.

Naukyng "Moon" - and here's Moon the Daycare Attendant. father to Jukei and Tsizh. God of Shiwix.

Vorymor "Boulder Sun" - half sibling to Zormalfym. God of Koror.

Zormalfym "Flaming Sun" - half sibling to Vorymor. closest thing to an 'evil' god. a little too into live sacrifices considering how peaceful the other deities are to their worshippers. an outcast to the other deities and family doesn't associate with him very much. Zhol is very disappointed in him. God of Xyl.

Jukei "Full Moon" - Elder sibling to Tsizh. God of Xokly'ang and knowledge.

Tsizh "Mem Drop" - Younger Sibling to Jukei. God of Reix.

Dzevyzh "Sugar Star" - child of Whaidzo, Eldest sibling of Xiduqa and Qishwe'yx. not shown in this image as they do not have a celestial body. Helps Qishwe’yx watch over her planet because of Qonind being an ass. God of Yty'arv.

Xiduqa "Television Planet" - child of Whaidzo, middle sibling of Dzevyzh and Qishwe'yx. Watches over his planet with Jukei and Tsizh. God of Wobnair.

Qishwe'yx "Indigo Wish" - child of Whaidzo, youngest sibling of Dzevyzh and Xiduqa. Watches over her people. God of Tsyg.

really, truely, the main problem is that i have these (really loose) concepts of characters.
I'm going through and re-purposing OCs to basically be host bodies for these deities, cus nearly all of the OCs I have lack a personality or back story or anything. so this is a quick way to do that, and also why you might recognise some names lol. but also some of them i already kinda have ideas for?? like who they as a person is meant to be and it's kinda weird or difficult to put them into this role of being a deity.

So a lot of these will be fleshed out ~*eventually*~, but that's eventually… whenever eventually is QwQ im not good at writing characters and i have over 300 *screaming and crying and rolling on the floor*
