Somehow this has managed to be the first feral piece of Cerys aside from her ref sheet, despite this being her canonical appearance without any of her illusory magic. A most sincere thank you to my friend,
Ghooostie for this very thoughtful and lovely gift!If anyone has any questions about Cerys, I would be thrilled to answer them!

Do you think she’ll ever become powerful enough to break free from her curse?
and totally random question but, what does she do for fun?
That is a good question. She will always bear the ephemeral chains even if she is able to break the magic that binds her to her father's will; think of it like scars after receiving an injury. It is possible to break the binding ritual, and I do think I plan for her to do so at some point in her lore. The gemstone in her chest that inhibits her gift of fire is theoretically impossible to remove without killing her, but who knows if that will prove to be the case in reality~
Another very good question, and one I admittedly haven't given as much thought to as I could. She is probably pretty focused on escaping her captivity and enacting revenge on her father, but I imagine she would be quite the socialite when disguised and interacting with mortals; enjoying parties, dancing and wine. She is a demon at the end of the day, so she does enjoy tricking mortals, and she also has no inhibitions about engaging in some pleasures of the flesh; she wants to be seen as beautiful for a reason.
Thank you so much for the questions <3
And also, you are most welcome! ✨^w^✨
Rather makes me wonder how she'd get along with my half-demon, half-dragon, icy lad Yatasal
But excellent question. "Demon" is such a wide catch-all, I do imagine everyone envisions them to behave in a somewhat different way, depending on their lore. In my lore, demons are always vying for power over one another, so those with any substantial power tend to have very adversarial relationships with one another (when disguised, it is another matter entirely, but generally demons have a much harder time fooling one another than mortals). Maybe Yatasal is more approachable though!
For my lore, it's similarly classic: demons are creatures of pure desire, seeking what they want at the expense of all other things. They would likely fight each other over conflicting wants, since more power means more fulfilment for their wants.
Yatasal's demonic heritage is from a powerful demon who sought to possess all things, a classic greed story.
This is actually why he has power over ice. Said demon parent had power over crystal, to preserve what's his, and his dragon parent over water.
Yatasal is definitely approachable, thanks to positive influences in his life in contrast to Cerys, but his greedy heritage definitely pops up every so often. If he ever goes full demon and has his way, his friends would likely remain frozen at his side forever!
Apologies for the delay, I am dreadfully inconsistent with actually using FA for its social aspects sometimes. I am very much enjoying this conversation and learning a bit more about your boy so far though!
The funny thing is, the ice powers came first and that stuff about water and crystals came afterwards, since I tend to build my characters backwards. I start with a concept and work both forwards and backwards from there, because imo the most important part of a character is their present state; everything else (backgrounds, character arcs, plot, etc.) blossom out from there. He didn't even have ice powers when he was first conceived, he could just use a few runes!
I suppose the main difference is that Yatty was lucky enough to grow up with mortals / other dragons rather than with demons. His demonic sire disappeared in an expedition to the magical north pole of the world before Yatasal was ever born, and his mother died not long after. So, he and his twin brother were raised by a clan of dragons. He did have some run-ins with demons as a young adult, but they all ended poorly and he managed to avoid any deathly consequences for himself, at least. (Others weren't so lucky.)
Funnily enough, the main antagonistic force early in his life was a pride demon, one who almost managed to put Yatasal in a similar position to Cerys. Only his heritage as the last scion of a demon lord and the intervention of his friend Balans saved him. This is also how he found out he was half-demon, it was quite the scene!
I'm not sure what Yatasal would think of Cerys, either. He's too used to demons as beings of pure evil, rather than victims of circumstance. I definitely agree both of them would give the other quite a reflection into their own circumstances, rather fitting for a pride demon / fire dragon and a greed demon / ice dragon! Opposites in many ways, yes, but too eerily similar to leave each other be for long.
Edit: Also, apologies that my replies are only getting longer, lol. If you'd prefer to take this in notes or to another platform, feel free to let me know.
