Why did none of the monster hunting guild, a guild who identified him as a peryton, an aliferous deer, on sight, ever question why Beep's wings looked different? Why did their plan to hunt the Legendary Trio hinge on Beep's ability to scout out the monsters for them? Why did none of them ever mention, to him, that the scouting would consist of him FLYING AROUND then FLYING BACK to then walk them to where the monster was?
That final detail was coincidentally omitted until Beep met a guild member at the Crimson Badlands. "Go fly around. When you spot the Diamond Scorpion, fly back here. You can lead us to where it is." He stared at them. Opened his wing to stare at his still unfurling feathers, stared back at them, flapped his wing while the air passed right through the wide open gaps near his covert feathers, looked at his wing, then back at them as he folded his wing back up.
Maybe take a fucking anatomy lesson while you're sitting on your ass.
Beep found the Diamond Scorpion, but it was a fast fucker, and still tried to flee. How the fuck was he supposed to run back to the outpost, then lead them here when the fucking thing would probably be halfway across the fucking badlands by the time he came back? Thinking quickly, Beep reached his magic between his wing and his body, feeling it grasp onto something. He pulled the Galaxy Sword out from the subspace pocket, swinging the sword at the legendary monster. "Diamond" scorpion must only be because it was a shimmery blue, since the carapace sliced easy beneath his blade. There was a small golden vial, probably eaten at some point, that fell from it's spilled innards. Beep picked up the carcass with magic (he didn't know if scorpions were like snakes and could still strike when dead) and carried it back to the outpost. He slammed it down at the foot of the monster hunter, flared his wings to make an extra point, then took the warp to his Nexus, leaving for the Highlands.
The Highlands was easier, now that Beep knew what they expected him to do. He didn't even bother hiding the fact he was wielding a sword, and simply went out to look for the Golden Slime. Specifically the "Legendary" Golden Slime. When he finally found it, the only thing distinct about it was the aggression and the fact it was bigger. Even still, the membrane wasn't impervious to his blade, and Beep took the slime core (also called an egg, even when it hadn't done a mitosis about it) and shoved that into his subspace pocket next to the vial. He used magic to drag the oozing sack of slime back as well. By the time he made it to the Highland outpost, it was already night, so he went home.
The next monster was closer to home. Or wherever the witches warp pad went, it was still easier to get to. Beep brought his saddlebag this time, since there was plenty of forage to be found while he searched for some Purple Mushroom Crab. A variant of the rock crabs in the mines, and similar to the Truffle Crab that could supposedly sneak onto the farm. Beep knew it could pop out of any of the purple mushrooms he saw, but it still scared the fuck out of him when it finally decided to show up. Fucker was fast too, but not as fast as a deer. Beep carried it back to the Adventurer's Guild by the mushroom, but the bond between mushroom and crab must've weakened over the course of the journey, since the crab part fell off on Marlon's floor, and Beep was left with a weird looking purple mushroom.
With the monsters dispatched, their plan honestly shit since Beep did all of it on his own anyway, Beep took the spoils and left. The Crimson Badlands guild members tried to thank him with a fancy shield and sword, except Beep couldn't use them. They were way too heavy, and also looked like shit. All in all, this quest was shit. At least the loot Beep got from these "legendary" monsters were worth a lot of money.
Things different from canon; (AU???)
Gramps never had an heir, or they never show/ed up.
Stardew Valley Expanded; new maps, new NPCs, new events, a LOT of new stuff.
The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly.
This is my first time playing Stardew Valley Expanded. Please no spoilers if you play SVE.

A LOT of people don't understand how wings work. While I was explaining them to someone, I came across a post from someone who was pulling their bird's blood feathers because they thought they were bad. SO MANY people in the comments told them to knock that shit off because the blood feathers were growing feathers, and to only pull them if they were broken and a clotting agent wasn't working. Seriously fucked up they had a bird and never bothered to learn proper care.
