Fall 11, Year 2

While Beep was getting ready to head to Ginger Island, Marlon stopped by to ask the peryton to meet him at the Adventurer's Guild tonight. Since he suddenly had plans, Beep opted to run his quick planned errand, then return to the main land. Doing all sorts of quests for Mr.Qi gave Beep quite a number of Qi Gems, and he had just enough for something he planned to use to torment some of the ruder people in town. A 'Key to the City', that supposedly allowed Beep to enter any building in town. Why did Mr.Qi have this? And for what purpose? Beep was just going to use it to stare at Pierre and Clint while he waited for them to open their shop. Apparently it severely unnerved people when Beep stood still, but followed them with his head on a swivel. Unblinking.

Beep dropped off his saddlebag back home, then took the mine cart from the bus stop to the Mine. From there it was a quick walk to the Adventurer's Guild! And a lot of monster hunters...

Marlon explained that a trio of legendary monsters have been spotted by guild members. Due to how elusive they were, and powerful, it was dangerous to go searching for them. That's where Beep came in. Since he was free to walk in monster-infested areas, he could find these monsters, then one of the monster hunters would dispatch it. Beep would be allowed to keep the spoils as payment for his assistance. So with an agreement to help, the monster hunters went to the back room to sort out a schedule for Beep's help, while the peryton opted to stay in the main area of the shop.

The pin feathers were itching like crazy, which meant they were ready. The ends had already split yesterday, so Beep reached around and began loosely chewing on the sheaths to help break them open. More of the feather unfurled, but it would still take a few more days for them to fully release.

With a plan... planned... Beep went back home to rest up. He'd be doing a lot of searching tomorrow, and possibly the day after. Depending on how long this took.

The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly.
