Summer 26, Year 2

Marnie had taken inspiration from befriending Beep, and set up a deal with some of the local bears. (The friendly animals variety, not big hairy gay men.) If someone had a deluxe barn (which Beep had), Marnie would contact a bear to move in, where they'd collect honey to pay for their board. Unfortunately, Beep didn't have the room to see if it'd be worth it. On his way into town to pick up the forage there, and run some errands, Beep noticed movement in the graveyard.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, Beep has absolute piss-poor social skills, and no idea how to handle someone crying. The most he managed was to awkwardly walk alongside Sophia as she walked home, and try to offer an ear. Even after she got home, Beep felt obligated to linger and hope she was okay, which amounted to laying on the floor in front of her couch while she watched anime. When it was determined Beep had spent the appropriate amount of time to indicate he cared, he left as quietly as he could.

Once he was away from the crying and tv sounds and the crushing weight of being around an emotionally fragile situation, Beep let out a heavy sigh as he stood out in the rain. He listened to the rain drops cascading down over the vineyard, and how it drowned out any other noise. He stood there for probably entirely too long, soaking down to his skin, but he needed the time to decompress before he walked home.

There was a reason he didn't interact much with people.

Gramps never had an heir, or they never show/ed up.
Stardew Valley Expanded; new maps, new NPCs, new events, a LOT of new stuff.
The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly.
