Well, Suzocon pretty much has got Vetra dead to rights. Even Brand's evidence seems to support Suzocon's hypothesis. Okay, Vetra's in the business of making fake Omin's Eyes. Yeah, she's definitely a BBEG. But, as broken a record as I sound, we haven't heard yet what the yao no kitsune's angle on this is. It'd be easy to believe he's sincerely curious, and may well be. But is that all he is?
Something about this whole setup stinks like Taran's smiting victim from earlier. The other demigods are either openly villainous, cuckoobananas, or both. This fox is in control. Which he maintains at all cost.
Makes him either a useful neutral, or an incredibly dangerous villain. Maybe even both.

That's still an open question, if it is one of his tails. Right color, but it is lacking the red trim that his tails have. Could be artistic simplification, could be another kitsune's tail altogether. If it is one of his tails, though, it is perhaps an extremely important clue who Suzocon-sama truly is.
