Hee-Ho, howdy everyone! Today I bring you another remake of an older piece of artwork! This one dates back an ENTIRE year ago from today! I worked on it all day yesterday, and here is the original so we can compare very accurately to how much I improved over the years: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53205190/
The artwork depicted is still of the Ranger from Quake and a Vore from the same game. Very specifically the room where you get locked with them, and yes- just like last time, this alien's species actual name is "Shalrath", so we don't have to keep calling them vores. So! As you can see, I tried to be as faithful as possible. Choosing the same positioning, the same combat scene, but only making slight adjustments here and there. As originally, I was going to make a new piece entirely with vague depictions of the last piece, but... I feel that would ruin the intent and I wouldn't actually get to see how far I progressed. The lightning gun is still incredibly jank to draw, especially with him holding it, but I drew these really cool magical lightning effects on the gun so I'm happy with it. I also made the mouth of the creature much more "deranged" and scarier looking lmfao.
Uhhhh other than that? I have nothing else to say! I guess what really helped me create this piece was the one with the Kobold and Doom image I made a while back- or the Quasimorph post, but uh- yeah-- I mean, I guess I solidly, just improved and stuff- but I feel those images are slightly similar haha- Sorry, busy day ahead of me, this description is 100% rushed-
