See title, it's written under the flag exept in Slovenian and Glagolic writting XD Woho so, this is a made up country based of the Kingdom of Karantanija that existed for about 2oo years before the freaking germans came here and brought with them the idiot christian faith D< Also if you think that the people were happy to get rid of poganism your wrong they had many revolts but unfortunetly they were futile becouse the german force (as allways in history time and time again =w=) was stronger than ours. Tho pogan influences in christianity still remain today. The Kurent is a nice example and I'm proud of that becouse it's my herritage ^^ But anyway I got off topic...why is it based on Karantanija? Karantanija wasn't acctualy on the land where Slovenia is today in was in the place of Austria XD But keep mind mind, back then german tribes lived more to the north and so did we...eventualy everything went south and as the germans went south we did too so here we are today...but also I must mention it wasn't 'Slovenians' living in Karantania it was Slavic tribes and many of them are probably the annsestors of the people's that made up former Yugoslavia so here we are at a border some might think this flag doesen't belong JUST to us, and others that it doesen't belong not even to us LoL. But acctualy the flag isn't realy the flag on Karantanija Karantanija didn't have a flag it had just a dragon scarf, but the dragon had theese three colours red white and black http://words.gimb.org/wp-content/up.....arantanija.jpg Hence the flag =D And since it would be in socialism (duh!) a red star shouldn't be missing lol XD Oh also if you think I left the dragon out yoru wrong I will put it in the coat of arms =P But haven't made out the coat of arms compleetly =w= Just wait untill I do...but if you still think this flag isn't Slovenian at all let me remind you that theres not much stuff that makes the current flag Slovenia either D< It's based on three colours from the Kranjska Eagle Blue Red and Gold (later White) and Kranjska was only a part of SLovenia not the whole region so I think it isn't fair...also c'mon SOO many slavic countries allready use blue white and red there is something to be said about being at least a little different =w= I mean nobody knows Where Slovenia is becouse we're so simmilar to others and people mix us up...so, even in real life for the real Republic of Slovenia I suggest theese colours for a new flag~
