"Behold, a festering abomination of flesh and metal! A Scalebold morphed by the over consumption of organic material. One that can never be satiated no matter how much it devours and slays as it accumulates in unending rage. As this creature's belly will always seemingly be empty as it demands to see it filled. This poor soul is just another monster bearing the "gifts" of the Cult of the Gourmand and their blasphemous Fleshwelders.
These mutated berserkers at the very least are pretty short lived. Their skin has been physically fused with their metallic armor and the same can be said about their weapons of war. Their minds have already been entirely shattered by the prophets and are basically used as the attack dogs of the cult. Many cannot match their pure physical prowess as they heal after every foe they slay in their path. Always living dangerously close to the edge as one small lapse in their momentum will instantly cause them to expire.
The only words they manage to utter are ones of the pure primal desire to simply eat. Thinking that it may extend their life force as they're desperately running from the reaper. It is a travesty to engage with any of these great and terrible foes. Beware their sharp beaks, and speed as battles with them will be over within a blink of an eye. Stay steadfast and ensure that your willpower is stronger than their steel." ~Thomza Materia
Hee-Ho, another day, another data-log... This will be the last unit focused on the Cult of the Gourmand, and the next will be more focused on the Cult of the Devourer and honestly, a Hunter related log, probably, if I can write it lmfao, still feeling sick you can probably tell. Also, naaah, this one ain't nowhere near as long as the last log either too, as that one was very lore-heavy. If you want more information, Check out more about the fetid transformation and Cult of the Gourmand on my FA or DA page- things are a bit unsorted here, sorry lmfao
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.
Other Disclaimer: You are allowed to share my artwork as long as I am credited, but do not upload it anywhere else, edit it and or mark it as your own if that wasn't common sense. Reminder, my kobold (Scalebold) stuff has nothing to do with DnD, (Dungeons and Dragons), Pathfinder, that sort of stuff- it is meant to be an entirely alien setting.
