Take this orb, so Virmir doesn't have to remember to draw it any more.

Might not be a bad analogy, considering that King Asgore was essentially a Well Intentioned Extremist, a really nice guy that was doing very bad things for a noble goal - in short, an antivillain. Maybe the phoenix, or whatever the Master is, that lives here is that sort of antivillain. The other three have just be straight-up villains, corrupted by... something. Would be nice to see an antivillain for a change among the kami of this world.
He possessed his own dead body but it was already partially decomposed, so he was little more than an undead kitsune. The smell was so bad it caused Saida, in Brand's body, to vomit up lava, which quite effectively cremated Roko's body.
He also possessed the lobotomized body of a dolphin and burned it up in the electric trap of Darya's to get in and destroy Saida and Brand's contract, then occupied the skeleton. Unfortunately, the dolphin's soul was still in the skeletal remains, and it really didn't like it when Roko released it. So he ate the soul. The dolphin's skeleton also crumbled to dust.
I find it very unlikely that anything could basically bring Roko's body back as a Heartless from the ashes, but if we're talking about a Hinotori (Phoenix) or other elder kami anything is possible.
