New Day New Bowser!

Bowser is currently swinging around like Spiderman with his stretchy arms over and around the volcanic landscape that surrounds his castle. As Bowser is swinging around feeling a sense freedom he’s never experienced before his grip on a ledge slipped. He immediately began to fall into the canyon that had a lava river running through it!

As he was plummeting to the lava fearing for his life thinking “Not again!” he suddenly got an idea. He quickly stretches his arms and legs out to the walls like a big X putting his hands and feet against the walls. He was able to stop himself from falling into the lava by slowing himself down. Bowser lets out a huge sigh relief.

“That was too close! Man, my hands and feet hurt after that.”

As Bowser is hanging there thinking “How am I going to get out of this mess?” He hears a loud noise. Thud, thud, thud each one getting louder and louder. He looks behind him to look up and sees just in time a huge boulder falling into the canyon right on top of him.

“AAAAAAHHHHH!!!”

Wham! The huge boulder slams onto Bowser’s shell/back breaking his grip and sending him plummeting towards the lava again. Bowser screams again as he is plunged into the lava. That is the moment his dream ends as he wakes up.

“AH!” He starts to breath heavily then realizes that it was just a dream. “Oh good. It was just a dream.” He lets out a relived sigh. “I must have fallen asleep then. That was a wonderful dream I had, that is until the way it ended…”

He sits up on the edge of the bed and does a morning stretch then stands up. He quickly notices that he is much taller now. He looks at himself and realizes that his arms and legs are still long, not as long as they where yesterday but still long.

“Yes! All of it wasn’t a dream! Ha ha! I need to know how long I currently am.”

He tries to walk over to there the tape measurer is but he immediately is trying to keep his balance as he’s not used to walking like this.
“Woah!” As he flails and wobbles for a moment managing to catch himself.

“Alright, let’s try standing first then walking.”

He wrights himself and gets a sense of how differently he has to balance himself. After taking time to get his bearings he takes a successful yet still very wobbly step forward.

“Okay, off to a good start, now…”

Then another step and another step slowly and carefully makes it to within reach of the tape measurer. He grabs the tape measurer.

“Yes! I got it! I seem to already have some decent control of everything. Now let’s see just how long everything is now.” Bowser proceeds to take measurements of everything.

“So everything is 5 feet long (approximately 1.5 meters). Hm, I wonder what time it is right now?”

He finds the nearest clock and sees that it is 4:18 Am in the morning.

“I’m up real early so it means that I have plenty of time to myself.” He says with a grin on his face.

His stomach starts growling.

“After I have something to eat that is. Well sense I already have a good idea of how to walk now. I should be able to get myself some breakfast real quick.” Feeling overly confident in himself.

He exists his sleeping chambers on his airship, taking the tape measurer with him, having to duck through the doors along the way nearly falling over a few times. When he steps out onto the deck of his airship, he sees how empty and quiet the docks are this early in the morning. Spotting a few minions sleeping on the job.

“I’ll let them off easy by letting them sleep so can do what I want in peace.” He says quietly to himself.

As Bowser walks around the docks he gets accustomed to walking with his longer limbs only wobbling a little bit by the time he gets to the doors that head into the castle. He enjoys not having to duck down to get through this door entering back into the castle. While he walks through the halls he decides to try a few things like taking as wide steps as he can, making an arch with his body, doing some twists, etc.

He gets to where he is going to and makes himself some breakfast, only making a small mess in the process. He takes a seat to eat his breakfast causing his arms and legs to bow out and away from him. Kind of looking like Jack Skellington a bit. Just as he’s about to take a bite of his food He realizes something and gets an idea.

“Wait! I just had a brilliant idea!” As he puts his food down, then he grabs onto his head. “Let’s see if this will work like I think it will?”

As he pulls on his head his neck stretches. “It’s working!” He stops after pulling a little bit and decides to let go of his head. It does droop but he quickly holds his head up without using his hands.

“That actually feels weird unlike everything else so far. But I seem to already have control right away this time so…”

He grabs the tape measurer and proceeds to incrementally stretch his neck checking each time until it’s 5 feet long like his arms and legs. Unlike when his arms and legs stretch for the first time he’s able to control his long neck right away.

He takes a moment to run his hand along his long neck just to see what it would feel like. He feels his hands very clearly and finds this sensation particularly enjoyable.

“That something else! Hm… maybe because I stretched my neck differently it made it feel different? Anyways now it’s time for the main event!” As he grabs his food and licks lips.

He takes a huge bite of his food, chews, then swallows it. When he does that, he feels his food go down the entire length of his neck.

“That wasn’t enjoyable like I thought it was going to be. It just felt like the same thing but for much longer.” He said disappointedly. “Well anyways.” He proceeds to eat the rest of his breakfast.

“Well now that I’m done eating I should probably get back to my airship before everyone else wakes up.”

As he stands up he gets a real sense of how much taller he is now with his long neck. “Oh wow! That’s quite the difference.”

Bowser makes his lanky way back to his airship, but as he peeks his head around the open door to the docks he notices that the once sleeping minions are now awake.

“Curses! How am I going to get back there without being seen to keep from ruining my surprise?” He thinks to himself.

He then gets an idea. He successfully sneaks through the doors and goes to the underside of the docks and basically swings and grabs onto the underside of the docks like a spider monkey. He makes sure to use each of his limbs to swing from except for his neck after he tries it once and chokes himself for a moment. After a while of swinging he finally makes it back to his airship unnoticed, as far as he is aware.

He ducks through the door and sneaks back in, but he closes the door on his left foot getting it stuck. He reacts painfully to it but realizes that it didn’t actually hurt. As he looks back and sees that the door is fully closed tight seemingly crushing his ankle.

“What an unexpected surprise.”

He opens the door and pulls his foot in then closes it again. He takes a look at where the door closed on his leg and sees that it’s flat there. He tries to walk on it but it doesn’t work.

“Well if it works in cartoons might as well try it.” As he shrugs to himself.

He proceeds to put his thumb into his mouth and blows on it. As he does so his chest and cheeks puff out and his ankle is no longer flat.

“Hm. Seems that I can do more than stretch my body.” Sounding very intrigued and surprised. “Now time to get into position.”

He heads back to his bed and waits. After a while he hears a knocking at the door.

“Who is it!” Bowser asks.

“It is Kamek my Stretchyness!”

“Anyone else with you?”

“No, it’s just me.”
“You may enter.”

As Kamek opens the door he sees Stretchy Lord Bowser doing the paint me like one of your French girls pose, but very long.

“I-It s-seems y-you’re a-already for me my S-Stretchyness!” Kamek said a bit flustered and surprised.

“Ha ha ha! I had an early start to my day as you can see. Seems that you like what you see here Kamek.” As he gestures to the rest of his body with his arm.

“Just surprised is all.” As he composes himself.

“Well, I have a lot to tell you about, but first I think it’s time to make a special announcement to my minions today!” As he gets up.

“Oh really my Stretchyness?”

“I would like to make it a surprise announcement, so I would like you warp us to my throne room then round up the troops in the courtyard for me.”

“Understood my stretchy lord!” He proceeds to warp them to the throne room with his magic.

“Before you go, I would like to share with you what I’ve learned so far.”

Kamek nods and listens to Bowser explain that he has better control of body, how he has yet to figure out how to control the stretching and retracting of his body, how he stretched his neck and what it felt like, how he climbed under the docks, and askes him to get something heavy quickly. Kamek does so and Bowser instructs him to drop it on his toes.

“Are you sure my lord?”

“Yes! Drop it, that’s an order!”

Kamek does as he is told and drops it. The large gray brick smashed flat the toes on his right foot. Bowser instinctively flinches then picks up the brick showing his flat toes to Kamek.

“Now watch this!” He then holds the brick wrapped around in his left arm and puts his right thumb in his mouth and blows. After a second one by one his toes pop back to there normal shape. Pop, pop, pop!

“That’s quite the discovery my stretchy lord!”

Bowser proceeds to explain how he found out to Kamek. “Fascinating.”

“I agree. Looks like there is more to look into and learn about. Now, go and gather my subjects.” As he does a dismissive hand gesture.

“Right away my stretchy lord!”

Kamek takes his leave. While Bowser waits he passes the time by practicing poses for when things are ready, some poses include the brick. After some time passes Kamek returns.

“The preparations are all ready my Stretchy Lord.”

“Well done! You may announce me as simply Lord Bowser by the way.”

“Oh, really my Lord.”

“Yes. I feel that there is a more fitting new title waiting to be discovered as we learn more about my powers.” He moves his head close to Kamek “Also please don’t stop calling me my Stretchyness from time to time. I like that one a lot, so please continue to do so.”

“Understood my Stretchyness! Now shall we begin?” As he gestures towards the balcony in the back of the throne room that overlooks the courtyard.

“Yes, let us begin!”

Bowser and Kamek make their way to the balcony ready to make a very special announcement!
