Argos the Hellhound©  Wolfy the Hungry Shapeshifter

Argos is part of a bigger World that I have been, and still am, working on in the background; My very own Version of Hell, with my Prince Hellraptor Sona, Viado, as the leader. It's still heavy work in progress, but Argos, and some other hell critters I have are all part of this bigger world ^^ and I do hope you all will enjoy it when it is ready.

This Backstory is a tad unique, as it delves into the Infernal Guardian Academy, which is a place inside of my Hellworld and gives a basic idea as to what a Demon or Hellbeast might learn while attending there, like basic background of their 'client'/'master' or person, their likes, dislikes, fears....any basic info they'd need to know to be a good guardian to the one they pick.

Description: Argos is a Hellhound born into the Ars Lupina family, growing up and spending a lot of his early years playing around at the Gates with Skully, the Cerberus Allo enjoying the young and energetic Hellhound’s company, who was sometimes accompanied by the young Hellprince, Viado. While only a couple years older than the Prince, Argos enjoyed spending time with him and his sister, Slineir, sometimes being trained by the Commander-to-be, Slineir. This training involved combat and tracking training, helping heighten his already powerful tracking skills as a Hellhound. As he grew older, he took specialized training for Border Patrol, having an interest in the position. The training further improved some of his heightened senses, even improving his general ability to spot discrepancies in documents of visitors or soon-to-be residents of Hell.

As a Hellhound, Argos was a unique breed of Hellhound, having a Skulldog-themed appearance, with an anthro and feral form. He had Draconic Wings and horns, with scale plates on his arms and legs, including 3 long Crocodilian tails that were tailmaws. His colors are mostly desert browns and tans with burnt oranges and reds mixed in, with his tailmaws being a crocodilian green. He stands 12ft tall in his anthro form, with his tailmaws being 13ft long and a stomach inside each to contain prey and friends, with a 25ft wingspan while his feral form stands 8ft tall and 31ft long, the tailmaws accounting for 17ft of that length as his wingspan was 40ft.

When he turned 27, he was approached by Viado, who suggested he attend the Infernal Guardian Academy, to train and study to be assigned to someone on Earth as their personal Demon and Bodyguard, recommending he apply to be the Demon of a human named Johnathon. Argos, intrigued by his request, attended the Academy and applied for Johnathon, beginning to learn and study stuff necessary to know about Johnathon. One of the first things he learned was that Johnathon first came from a torn and broken family before being taken in by Wolfy’s Family, one that seemed never to end, filled with all sorts of creatures, even Viado, with many things still haunting the human from his past. The more he read about John the more intrigued he became, learning that he loved to be flustered by kind and teasing predators. A little note by the info he read told him to take it easy on the fluster at the beginning, to not overwhelm him right away.

He continued to read up about John, learning about some of the things he liked to do and some of the things he didn’t like. As he read about the likes section, he couldn’t help but smile and envision some of the fun times he and John could have, learning that the human loved preds with big, soft guts, or guts full of food and rubbing them to help the pred digest them. One thing he found about John that the human loved a lot, was tailmaws, and how he loved to give them love and affection as he does with their ‘owner’, causing Argos to smile happily. Some other things he learned that John liked were being cuddled and/or nommed and put in a gut during thunderstorms, one of his main fears. As he read into the dislikes and fears, he learned that John was more of a pacifist, and didn’t like seeing violence, so Argos made a mental note to do his best to keep that stuff out of John’s view. Some of the fears he learned involved John fearing being alone, being hurt by evil preds, especially ones from an evil group calling themselves “Vindicta Exercitus Mille”, and being seduced by evil preds to his doom via their maw and gut.

Taking all of this info into account, Argos felt ready to meet his human, contacting Viado before a portal opened up in front of him, leading him to the house Viado stayed at on Earth when he wasn’t with his new family. He looked around the dark-colored mansion, admiring the place as he heard Viado tell him to come to the living room, entering the room to find his new friend sitting beside the Hell Prince and Ruler of Hell, kneeling down and waving to him. John was incredibly nervous and shy at first, having been told by Viado that he had someone he wanted him to meet before bringing him to his home, and was shocked to see the Hellhound, let alone the 3 long tailmaws which moved of their own accord and very carefully nuzzled him. Viado chuckled as Argos’ tailmaws greeted John with nuzzles before Argos sat with John and hugged him, introducing himself as John’s new personal Demon and Bodyguard, the human blushing some and hugging the big Hellhound.
