As mentioned the other day, here is the big all-encompassing journal detailing my current plans for this year ahead. This year should hopefully take a LOT off of my shoulders as it involves shifting some gears for myself

I will keep this journal kinda shorter for simplicity's sake.

First up!

Art Status

After 5 years of on-again off-again dabbling in it, I think it's become clear to me that art isn't my PASSION in life. Don't get me wrong, i LOVE to draw now n' then. I still have SOME interest in continuing. But it's time to stop treating it like something i want to make a BIG part of what i do in free time. Plus, y'know, the can o' worms that is AI. Don't get me started.

So that means:
1. Less art being created by me at least for the next couple years. I *would* like to build my skills up some more, but we'll see if that happens.
2. Yes, i still will do ArtFight each year regardless. I do like having a month to dedicate myself to creativity, it helps keep that passion burning in me.
3. This account will transition into more of a personal gallery of my ocs and art i get. MUCH less pressure to post stuff that way.

Writing/Worldbuilding

This is something i'm still deciding on as far as how MUCH to invest into it. What i DO know is that I want to get my universe and world fleshed out finally, and to start writing out stories and oc bios and so on and so on.
Expect to see a lot more of this kind of content coming from me in the future interspersed with my art posting

Dead Plans

-My youtube content creating plans are officially pretty much dead, at least, again, for a couple years. It's not something i'm really passionate about like i thought i was.
-My possible plans to start up streaming are mostly dead as well, at this time. another thing that may come back in the years ahead, but i have other things i would prefer to spend time on.

Other Current plans

I honestly don't have many more BIG plans currently. I've done a lot of thinking and with how the world is nowadays and everything going on in my life, i need to scale back in some areas, for my own well-being. Expect the following;

1. MUCH less activity on most of my other accounts online. Discord, FA and Bluesky will be the main places i actually do stuff on. If you see me on other sites, assume i just lurk there and don't expect to see stuff from me there.

2. Embracing the lurk on Discord. As some of you may already know just from seeing it, I'm not near as active in a lot of discord spaces as i once was, or even in DMs. I'm still 100% there and willing to chat n' hang out, just, I am a LOT busier during the week nowadays. SO, i've decided, in most places i'm in, i'll just lurk, and poke my head out if i see something interesting or worth chiming in on.

3. Making changes to taking on RPs. I LOVE to rp, but lately,I've noticed i have trouble staying with it, or I just don't have time for it that i thought i would, or etc. SO, I am going to most likely slow down on how many NEW rps and rp partners i take on. If we CURRENTLY, or HAVE RPed at any point, there will be no change, and we will still do stuff together as time allows. I just need to slow myself down and stop adding so much to the pile. if i decide to DISCONTINUE rps with people, I can take a few new people on.

4. Various behind-the-scenes stuff. I still gotta finish my watchlist trimming, finish adding a bunch of new OCs and most of my Ark tames to my toyhouse, and finally finish up the big oc-naming project I'm not all THAT far away from completing. Those are probably going to take me a while to do since i prefer to do them off and on, but they'll get done.

5. Probably the biggest thing I'm looking forward to: My TRIUMPHANT return to gaming, finally. I have myself a new, much bigger external hard drive for ALL of my games, and i will be returning to gaming real soon, once i can get everything set back up (these first couple weeks will be sloooooow as I'm kinda easing my way into the new year and not wanting to burn out). I MIGHT, keyword might, start posting gaming content on Youtube after all if i get a good enough feel for it, but my ORIGINAL youtube plans are still scrapped.



Think this just about covers it, I will add any last-minute thoughts to this journal later on. Stay tuned, y'all, we'll see what's in store for me this year!
