Tried a new way for bacon. I bought some stainless steel racks that fit in a 15 by 11" pan. Lay thick-cut bacon on one rack in the pan and place the second on top to keep it flat. Baked it at 425 for 15 minutes and it turned out wonderfully. on the rack it keeps the bacon out of the fat and the taste is amazing.

If you want to try a special treat, try sprinkling with a combo of brown sugar and a touch of cayenne pepper. Also works with maple syrup & cayenne. Called "bacon candy". The stuff is amazing. *GRIN*
Putting the tinfoil under it is a real good tip, especially with the sugar/syrup. That stuff can really be a pain to get off a pan when it bakes on.
